One of the more interesting parts is while James credits Kieran for being a writer on AVGN from 2017-2021, he goes out of his way to say he created all AVGN episodes since after the Greendog one without any help. But Kieran on his quit-stream says he was the head writer for all of the 2022 episodes and it was him, James and Mike writing them collectively. James could be lying, or his mind is just completely broken.

Late, but I just checked the Cinemassacre main channel. Since when did this dweeb start posting these short, autistic 10 second clips of episodes taken out of context? These dudes are so, so out of touch. These clips taken out of their respective episodes are somehow more cringey than the newer AVGN videos.

Really late trying to pander to the ADHD crowd

I'm watching the Scripts video. First 5 minutes is nothing but him going over the kinds of episodes "he" writes. First it's basic episodes, then it's elaborate sketch episodes (that are clearly so popular), and then it's console review episodes, theme episodes, co-op episodes, like we get it! Stop! You fucking autist. My god. Isn't almost every episode "sentimental" since it rides off of nostalgia?

5 minutes. I'm pissed off and annoyed. Thanks, faggot.

@CyrusHowler is genuinely one of the worst frequent posters I've seen on this site. I can't recall the last time he contributed to the thread in a beneficial way outside of bitching about reddit, bitching about us or being contrarian in general.

8 minutes in! 8 minutes! Another lie! This nigger is lying through his teeth where he goes "I now beat the games out of spite." No mention of Mike. No mention of Kieran or Korine or Karen or Korn. No mention of Screenwave flunkies playing the games and recording the footage. Nothing.

If I were Mike I'd be pissed that this guy is taking credit for everything I've done. That's probably why Mike just streams himself playing and I would guess still helps out James because he feels sorry for him because of his family.

But I would love to see that confrontation where Mike is fiercely holding a copy of Ghosts 'N Goblins and is right in James' face going: "No, James. I beat the game. I played the game. I beat it twice. I told you about the daggers being the best weapon. I gave you the footage of MY gameplay of ME completing it. I told you that you needed the shield to truly beat the game!" And James just shuts down because of autism and Mike angrily storms out while still holding a copy of Ghosts 'N Goblins and as he slams the door a bunch of shit Color Dreams games fall off the shelves.

This nigga got his shit pushed in when playing Bucky O Fucking Hare on the NES -which is a difficult but at the same time lenient game- there is no way on this planet he beat Ghosts 'N Goblins legitimately.

Yeah that just reeks of an out of touch idiot being repeatedly told to make youtube shorts, not actually ever looking at tik-tok, and then doing the bare minimum so they can at least say they handed in their homework.

He professed he never watched wrestling. It was obviously a Korine line because he was into that shit. No way in fuck James knew who Bret the Hit-Man Hart is.

He makes a big deal about avoiding repetition and clunkiness when writing an AVGN episode and I'm wondering something: where was this discipline when writing his autobiography? This just further illustrates the presence of a ghost writer for AVGN.

The reddit sub is suggesting that this video is an attempt at damage control since Korn left. I could see that. But this video might just piss off Mike if someone makes him aware of the claims James is making.

39:20 Yeah, I'm going to agree with the sub on that theory because if you notice there's sudden voice over of gameplay footage acknowledging Mike and Karen. It's like he just remembered "Oh yeah, I should add a throwaway line acknowledging them to cover my ass." Or Screenwave reminded him.

When it ended I was genuinely shocked that he didn't give a shoutout to the wife. I fully expected it. Trouble in paradise or did someone take him aside and explain that you don't need to do that?
