it's decompile with undertalemod->find a shitty base64 string->convert to png->rearrange it so it makes sense ( it's unorganized 32x32 chunks of a 512x512 image ) and eventually you're sent off to some unlisted youtube vid and you have to use a spectrogram to see the letters that pop up from the audio.
its very gay and there's multiple base64 images in the game.

the mods spoiled a bunch of the ARG onto the game's wiki before the game was even released to steam lmao

You can click that lovely little ribbon icon on the top right corner of the post to bookmark it, then click on your name at the top of the page to access your bookmarks. Or you can click on the post number and then bookmark the page on your browser to return to a post that way. Or you can copy the link to your Google docs file or whatever. Also, since you're talking about sticker notifications, you can just click that "first unread button" at the top of the page if the link doesn't take you to that post anyway.

If the game was actually finished I would be tempted to check it out because I enjoy that style of game. It's the kind of thing I would have wishlisted and forgotten about for years while it did its early access thing.

Even now if the game was fully released and had mostly positive reviews I'd buy it for a few bucks on sale even knowing who made it. I honestly just want more good games to exist and don't care if the dev wears clown shoes or engages in insane behavior.

But I am fairly certain this hypothetical scenario will never happen and the game won't leave early access until many years have gone by, and it will only have the attention of long-term fans who will praise it no matter what. I would be happy if his game was great, but I don't expect it.

to dumber what you said down: game maker has preset data type values you can check on the documentation, said data values can then be changed to whatever you want within what is specified on the documentation, something maldivus... well, doesn't know? forgot? he goes out of his way to re-change the data type again, basically telling gamemaker that a value it knows as 0 should be 0 until he changes it again on some other script call to a string, gamemaker just accepts it anyway and doesn't even sigh at this fucking retardation.

Kinda?

Techbically at the lowest level its all just numbers with operations on those numbers, with those operations giving meaning to them. But there is no hardware enfoecement of data types at all on that level (which allows some fun things like interpreting one thing as multiple different types to enable fast onverse square root, for example)

But higher level languages, like c, have data types for developer convenience.
