I've found something on my hard drive so I'm replying to this old post about one of 2ndJerma editors who trooned out, was living in a polycule with a bunch of other troon/pooner/enbie-zoomers and (surprise-surprise) got accused of being manipulative, abusive and predatory.

He made a video where he all but disavowed his old TF2 content, literally crying about his viewers asking him to play more and showing screenshots of mean comments. Fast forward a bit and he's competing in OW tourneys, one thing leads to another and now he's a furry that crossdresses as a "joke". He's still entertaining sometimes as long as he's doing something with another person (he and Poke during jerma's houseflipper thing were hilarious as a team). His solo streams are incredibly boring.

I'm missing the history on this one, other than the few times he's used furries as the butt of a joke to fuck with viewers or co-streamers.

His video about his trajectory over the few years prior to the posting of it has been deleted or unlisted along with three other videos:
  1. I'm Working On: The Myriad (unlisted) (scraped by internet archive)
  2. What is Ster up to? (unlisted) (page scraped by IA, not the video)
  3. D&D Story: The Fireball Incident (unlisted)
The video in question of him having a breakdown and crying was What happened to the old STAR_? which has been privated but scraped by internet archive and available here without comments.

The Myriad and D&D videos were likely unlisted because they had references to Arcadum. Arcadum was a household name on Twitch for Dungeons and Dragons second only to Critical Role. He ran some kind of VRChat roleplay group as well as his own 'shared world' which was essentially budget Critical Role with streamers. Think less theater actors in makeup playing D&D for the camera and more nerd streamers and shrieker vtubers fumbling their way through a game and awkward roleplay in front of thousands of people.

Arcadum, coincidentally right after his big climactic end of season battle with all of his streamed games and offline games culminating in one giant clusterfuck with a cinematic at the end, was shortly thereafter called out as a sex pest and a creep and instantly fucking killed in the eyes of every streamer he'd ever played games with. The guy turned into toxic nuclear sludge overnight and everyone dropped his ass in seconds. He's still around after a few years laying low and rebranding, but that stain is stuck with him forever. If anyone's interested in that mess I could attempt to scrounge together bits and pieces to put into a proper post, but it was likely covered elsewhere on KF with how big it was. In fact, he has a PG thread that never made it that sums up the incident fairly well. Star's involvement in this was largely promoting Arcadum and being a close friend, part of multiple campaigns, and having him on in the first playtest of Myriad; of which Arcadum's character has been Stalin edited out of all the promo material.

Another particular note about Star is he recently mentioned he's bipolar on xwitter. That certainly explains his seemingly random flips between low energy whining and high energy actually being funny.

I can only recommend Star streams if you like PoE and other ARPGs or if you need background noise while he plays shitty hero shooters. You'll know he's in a good mood when the jokes are flowing.

"Few times" is being very liberal considering he makes offhanded comments about himself being a furry (recently eferencing his own puppy pads, his tail, etc) almost every stream these days. I get that his brand of humor has always been pretty dry and derogatory, so it's possible he IS just clowning. But something something slippery slope, pic related.

Ster has made these kinds of degen jokes for a long time. Initially he was going to do this catboy cosplay because of his vtuber friend Momo (but never did), and then he eventually did it because Jerma's current audience loves the gay shit. I don't see him stopping atp.. it's probably increasing his viewership.

Grim. The last pictures I remember of Star were the pictures of him doing his strongman log lifting competitions, which to his credit he did look pretty decently buffed up. Not aware of the context or what's going on in that picture though.

Troon jerma viewers would be immediately filtered by Star on account of him usually sounding grumpy or his regular shit talking of chatters and chatter opinions. That and his extremely rare face cams so they can't wholesome chungus love bomb him. Recently he's been banning people and asking them to write haikus as unban requests. I doubt the tranny mind could comprehend pushback of that nature.

Sure, but I mostly meant it as far as the comparison with F1nn5ter goes. I don't think he'd cultivate a fanbase as degenerate as F1nn's, at the very least not one that openly lusts for him and pays to watch him naked, if only due to respect to his wife.

But I've only watched his collabs with Jerma so maybe I'm very far off.

He's far past the stage where he'd even possibly begun to spiral down in that way, you're right there. Not saying he'd actually become a f1nnster, just that it's not impossible a man like him would troon out. I think he's too reasonable to ever actually go that direction especially seeing troonshit is losing popularity now.
