If radical feminists or trans-activists want to criticise or debate the opinions people express on Kiwi Farms they're welcome to do it anywhere, including on Kiwi Farms itself. What the fuck is wrong with reddit people that they think a website needs to have an enforced set of opinions nobody is allowed to deviate from? This is not a right-wing, white nationalist, fascist website. This is a tolerant and inclusive website in which all people are welcome and all opinions may be expressed, and that includes right-wingers, white nationalists and fascists. It is insane that we're even having to discuss that different training is required to wax men and women. It shouldn't matter if the techniques are different. Women shouldn't need a "reason" to not want to touch a man's scrotum.

That depends on whether they're providing an essential health service or a non-essential one. Patients who cannot take care of themselves, like old men in nursing homes, or quadriplegics, should not be neglected and denied basic hygiene if the nurse who's willing to give sponge baths to male bodies is sick this week.

When it comes to people providing non-critical services like beauticians, though, you're right. If a beautician wants to only accept female clients for waxing services, they should be allowed to, and if they only want to accept clients with female bodies, that should be allowed also.

The KF rules are don't act fucking retarded and post things in the correct thread. Beyond that, site-wide, no one gives a fuck what you have to say because we all know that we aren't a buddy-buddy community where everyone has to like each other and get along. But on other sites, having the wrong opinion can and WILL get you banned (remember when commenting in certain parts of Reddit could result in you getting auto-banned in other places?) so they think that applies everywhere. After all, if the Kiwi Farms doesn't ban people who make mean comments, that means they agree with those comments, riiiiiiiiiiiiiight?

Because restricting what opinions can be expressed online lead directly to the Jonathan Yaniv situation? If you ban speech that is offensive it always goes too far eventually and people are deprived of information they may actually need to know. It is pretty god damned obvious why a place that has free expression also has offensive content. I'm guessing that the radfems that don't get it are canadian, british, and/or retarded.

tbh based on their responses in the threads about JY/null/KF, most of the GC people pretty much agree with what's being said here. People saying "OH NO DON'T ASSOCIATE WITH KNOWN WHITE SUPREMACIST TERRORIST MURDERER NULL" seem to be quickly downvoted while posts recognizing that this is the wild west more than it is right wing and telling the panicking ones to shut up and stop purity testing are upvoted. This is posted as a response to this thread over on the main GenderCritical subreddit, where extremely large amounts of anti-trans feminists fawn over the white genocide conspiracy theorist (source) anti-feminist and anti-race mixing (source) and potentially-kidding-potentially-not muslim genocide advocate (source) owner of the trolling website, Kiwifarms, for his actions against some online trans person I'm not familiar with. This includes him showing up in the thread and being heavily upvoted, along with a slew of comments about how he's great.

While casual cooperation with questionable groups is already par for the course for some facets of the community, I have to admit, I was shocked to see this level of support for a website that openly mocks the disabled, PoC, and other vulnerable groups as well as trans people. To those who share the sentiment expressed in this thread, could you explain how you feel able to overlook these issues, or why you don't feel they are important? If you don't, would you mind speculating from the perspective of someone active within your community why you feel so many are able to?

Unlike the evangelical thread, I'm not posting this as a sort of a bad opinion honeypot. I'm honestly thrown off. Up until this point, I'd had the loose impression that radfems were still broadly leftist, so now I'm feeling unsure about how to even approach these issues.

Edit: To put this here since people keep mistaking my intent, my point with this topic is not to criticize the "work" this person is doing in this instance in isolation, but rather the lionization and unqualified praise of a white nationalist.

I will not be posting on /r/GC until this blows over because of my disgust and discomfort with this KF shit. I had never heard of KF until recently, on GC. I spoke out against it when someone shared a screenshot of their front page with the nword on it. After commenting that it was disgusting to be sharing kf stuff, I was told I don't care about women. It made me cry. For my mental health i'm gonna have to stay away. I am longing more than ever for a leftist gc space because I am not okay with white supremacists.
