I think Jonathan thought that “all attention is good attention” as long as he was being feared or reviled online and none of it spilled over into his own everyday life.Yaniv has long been seeking fame, glory and adulation. He wasn’t prepared for the public to see him as the monster he truly is and react accordingly. The people with the torches and pitchforks are starting to openly ask inconvenient questions. Nobody seems to be responding to his oppressed status all of a sudden. We’re nearing the point where the monster runs for the windmill with the angry mob chasing him.
He’s jerked off for years to the act of invading women’s privacy, forcing his way into people’s lives and making them feel watched, stalked and unsafe, while hiding behind the shield of it being Technically Legal.
Now he gets to learn exactly what that feels like.
