Is Karl over-correcting for a speech impediment or something when he says certain words, especially those ending in the ER vowel?
I've never ever heard any other Australian/New Zealander pronounce it the way he does.
Gather 100 Australians and have them say:
"Happily ever after"
And I guarantee you 99 of them will repeat:
"Happily evvuh ahftah"
The 1 remaining Australian will be Karl, who will hit you with the contrived Americanized pronunciation:
"Happily evERRRR aftERRRR"
Why does he do this?
