In what regard? He hasn't released anything, unless Laura-Su actually dropped since I last checked this thread which I find unlikely.

It is pretty clear now he sees fleecing Sega as his meal ticket.
No it’s just commission is all some of his creepy characters other times it’s of sonic. Most of the art he does is focusing on other franchises. He is trying to do NFTs which are not going to work in the long run.

He does artist alleys at conventions, but literally anyone can do that. He hasn't released anything since he sued Archie. I'm definitely thinking the NFTs are as good as vapor too.

He is released something it’s just not the one he is doing. What he is releasing is on how much can a moron put out on twitter and get ratio for it. He is putting out content and I use that term loosely.
Like this tweet right here.

Either tell us your useless trivia on your KNUCKLES fanfic or stop wasting our time and shut the fuck up.

So it sounds like Richard and Ken were both pitching their own super epic Sonic films to Sega around the same time roughly and both were rejected or abandoned.
I honestly hope Kuta's theory is true, that his pitch was rejected because of Penders.

I heard from this sperg before.
Did he after his lolsuits actualy make a living from his CWC tier recolors?

That's just the thing, he hasn't published any comic or graphic novel with any of the characters he gained control of from the Archie lawsuit, and that was well over a decade ago. He once in a while will post his teasers about the "Lara-Su Chronicles" which feature his uncanny valley freak show characters but he has never given a delivery date or any hint that it is nearing completion.

He also mentioned that he is involved in the development of an app that'll serve as a distribution platform for the Lara Su comic as well as the Archie run of comics he gained control as well. Again no delivery date or meaningful updates about this app, which begs the question why even bother wasting time and money to develop such an app when there are plenty of existing and established apps that accomplish that same task? My guess is that he wants to avoid negative user reviews by having control of the platform itself.

Other than that, his output of content cannot warrant the belief that he is able to earn a living from his art, nor his social media numbers or engagement indicated having any meaningful following that would crowd fund a living wage, instead the truth is that the Sonic fandom overwhelmingly hate his guts.

This guy is in theory a veteran of the comic industry yet because of his litigious past no one who would be considered a peer wants to work with him because he's seen as a plagiarist, a parasite and a thief of other creator's ideas and work.

So whatever earnings he has, it has nothing to do with his work as a writer or artist.

If he is planning to sue Paramount over the latest Sonic movie it is to garner publicity and lech off from the success of the movie and once again gain unwarranted relevance and falsely claim ownership of ideas that are not his own.

I see this sort of thing all the time. A creator (using that word loosely here) becomes so enamored with their product, to the point of them conceptualizing all the spin-off stuff they want to do with it. Comics, Shows, Movies, Games, Apps, Merch.

This, in and of itself, isn't an issue. A friend of mine (who is a successful author and writer who's had her art featured in Time Square) once told me that it's important for a creator to be able to pitch their product in at least 3 different forms of media to prove its flexibility.

The problem with people like Penders is he's "Putting the cart before the horse". I don't care how many different spinoff things you do with the Lara-su chronicles. If don't release the damn book, none of this other crap matters.

Gotta love how he thinks that because SEGA is considering NFT's, that somehow puts him in the right.
tbh if you claim "a modern game company does it so it's okay" you're probably the baddies
it only takes a bit of effort for an artist to become an autist:biggrin:
whether the ABCs or the QWERTYs, it's only two letters away

I wonder how he plans to do that considering he doesn't hold the rights to any of the Sonic characters from the games or SatAM.
