I'm not 100% on sonic lore, but as I can recall, the only thing more egregious than his ownership of "green knuckles" is "Scourge" correct?

Literally was created as biker sonic, and all the other writers added the jacket, the scar, the glasses, the infusion of the master emerald energy, the multiple times he fucked another furry, the takeover of his homeworld, all the weird cuck shit with fiona and tails and sonic, hell, I don't even think he was on his final story which was supposed to be setup to a big comeback!

I--frankly--think that many of Ken's stories from the 60s onward aged like year-old milk, especially the "Green Knuckles" arc that lasted for almost three years. Granted, this was after the cancellation of the main Knuckles title and Archie regulated the character to a backup feature. It still felt incredibly drawn out and even imposed on the main Sonic title. I can only wonder if Ken punched a hole through a wall in tard rage when Karl Bollers effectively destroyed Echidnopolis and basically genocided its population post-"Tossed in Space".

Ian Flynn made Locke's death interest by having the character sacrifice his life to free Knuckles from the hex that turned him into Enerjak. As for Geoffrey St. John, his betrayal was made interesting by that fact that Geoff was willing to leave Nagus out to dry because he was happily married to Hershey the Cat. He only returned to Nagus' service when she was presumed killed on a mission to Cat Country.
It was perfectly fitting for that skunk since if you know what he was going to do with him.

Pen wrote the "pretending to be sonic to sleep with buny rabot" bit, but I think the rest is true. The name, color change, scars etc. all came after Penders left for good.
Also Evil Sonic is about as distinct a character and concept as "Evil Spock." Literally all the things that make Scourge even remotely theoretically usable outside of Sonic lore were added by other people.

Should someone tell Ken that Obama help fund a genocide in Yemen and the laptop stuff is real since he is living in denial or just send him copies of the laptop from hell hook or that politic writer’s book about the Biden’s or any of Matt taibbi’s writing or biden inc article. To break from that I got another sonic art piece from him. The other art pieces he posted are unrelated to sonic.View attachment 3173914View attachment 3173913View attachment 3173915
On that mural piece, I think Eggman looks pretty good as Penders style lends a "menacing" feel pretty well (backhanded) and Tails doesn't look too bad. The funniest part though is how much cleaner and on model Knuckles looks compared to everyone else but those two. Even that female Enchilada looks off, but I guess this was before his fetish for them fully bloomed.

Such an old piece, but it tells you so much about Ken when you really look at it. In a way, it really is a work of art, it's just not a work of art for the reasons Penders thinks it is.

He degraded his art so much it’s just a dumpster fire to not look away from. Even Alex Ross could do better than Ken since his art is praised.
Did anyone know about him working on tiny toons? 56A6762A-9C64-440B-8471-D767F67BB850.jpegC55022F2-4CB6-4AE0-AFDF-A3E9FFC24091.jpeg7EE1C0CE-665E-4D67-B636-F4EBD6ECD992.jpeg

A question for those of you who read the comic: Did you like any of Ken's characters?
That's a difficult question to answer. I did like Julie-Su, Lara-Su, and Scourge, but only when Ian Flynn was writing them. And hell, Scourge barely counts as a Penders character since all he did was create "Evil Sonic". All the stuff that made Scourge interesting was done by Flynn.

It's mind boggling that Ken thinks he has a chance of suing Paramount over Knuckles having a dad and the Master Emerald bullshit, He hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of winning over those two things.

Not sure if you all heard about the Star Trek Discovery plagiarism case, but there was someone who was making a point and click video game called 'Tardigrades' and after the release of season 1 of Star Trek Discovery he felt that numerous ideas of his from his game had been lifted by the Discovery production crew. That guy had more ground to sue CBS Viacom at the time and nothing came of it, so I doubt Ken's gonna win piss all.

If Ken is really going to sue then it is his own litigious past what is going to backfire on him.

The thing that the Paramount's lawyers have to point out is that because the plaintiff has a history of lawsuits against Sega, the defendants made sure to go out of their way to avoid any similarity to the plaintiff's stories and for that purpose Sega/Paramount based the elements of the movie entirely on source material from the games produced by Sega of Japan many years prior to the plaintiff's involvement. They could even ask for testimony (through video conference or recorded video statements) of the very people who worked at Sega of Japan during the creation of Sonic franchise and present all kind of original source material that contain the precursor elements that make up the story of the movie.

Paramount needs to show that Ken's arguments are frivolous and without merit and that is is him who is attributing himself authorship of other people's works , there are plenty of examples in Ken's writing that show he "borrows" heavily from other creators to the point of being outright plagiarism. Sega/Paramount can demonstrate easily that his arguments about Ken's "ideas" are based on universal storytelling elements that are common throughout all sort of storytelling mediums. ( Referencing a character's parents or ancestors as an explanation to a character's motivations or the science fiction trope of the "lost advance civilization" are well know common tropes that no single author can attribute as unique or original).

Hell, if I were Sega I'll counter sue and ask for the court to qualify Ken as a vexatious litigant and argue that Ken's actions are damaging to their intellectual property. The appeasement approach that Sega has used in the past with dealing with his prior lawsuits has only encourage and embolden him, this time they need to go full scorched earth on his ass otherwise he is going to keep doing this every time Knuckles is prominently involved in any of their future projects.

I’ve only watched the 1st movie so far but the parents scene only went on for about 5 minutes before we finally get into the meat and potatoes of the film. It wasn’t a crucial part of the movie and I’m pretty sure most people forgot about it later in the film so for him to be tweeting about “oh they never wanted parents” is kind of dumb.

Ken never understood parenthood or writing about parents at all no wonder Locke was a shitty father.

Well, apparently, Locke is based off of his own father who he had a "complicated" relationship with. Considering what a terrible, awful character/father/husband Locke was, it really makes me wonder what kind of person Ken's dad was.

I wonder if his dad microwaved him as a baby too. Is that why he looks like a human potato?

A question for those of you who read the comic: Did you like any of Ken's characters?
Not really. I think the only one I was ok with was Knuckles' daughter - before Ken ruined her appearance completely in his new comic.

I always found his stuff too much especially since I was a kid and had a hard time grasping like even 15% of his awful writing.
