Chris had several red flags and tendencies that Josh just doesn't and these are 2 entirely different situations with 2 retards operating at 2 completely different levels of reality. Josh has had real jobs, had real friends he spent time with, had sex and has been shown to settle rather than thinking he only deserves attractive women, and while he vastly over estimates his talent he isn't out here harassing Ozzy to make his shit music canon. On top of all of that Chris's delusions are far crazier than Josh's, with Chris believing in an alternate reality where he is God and all fictional characters exist, while Josh thinks he's good at guitar and will someday live in a house with a clock tower.

the very thought of cobes committing an actual crime (with a victim) seems far fetched. CWC has had overt, boiling hostility and sexual energy since we known him. Ofc, hindsight is 20/20, so what kind of crimes could we expect cobes to commit were he to just start sharply declining?

Josh is a shut in who actively avoids leaving his house or doing anything that could be remotely uncomfortable. He wouldn't even get off his ass to get an all expenses paid trip to being on Fishtank, so I doubt he'd go out of his way to really do something illegal.

It looks like it is named "Graduate" or "Team" it is a font on Customize Girl, I don't imagine the King knows how to install fonts on his PC. But yeah any College-esque fonts would do the trick. I assume he just used whatever they preload on there.

Yeah it's just cheaper and easier for Clint to warehouse Cobes in an apartment where the landlord is responsible for keeping it habitable. Also I haven't looked at the area, but a trailer lot is less likely to be easy walking distance to stuff than an apartment complex.

Clint has been adamant about allowing Cobes to live his own life and only intervening when things are truly dangerous ie cobes waving a loaded shotgun around on stream while drinking. He helps him deal with taxes and government stuff but other than that he gives Cobes space to be independent, for better or worse. Cobes has in the past talked about how Clint talked about building him a tiny house in the backyard of the family home though.

That doesn't mean much when modern appliances shit the bed faster than the old stuff. But it was sealed and clean.
Think about the most generic maintenance list for a double wide home:
1) make sure gutters aren't clogged
2) check side paneling and roof for leaks and moisture
3) clean and maintain heating system and air conditioning/filters
4) check windows and vents to see if they're sealed and caulked.

This needs to be done at least once a year at a minimum.

You and I both no Cobes isn't cleaning those gutters

There's also the toilet/septic system. I don't know anything about that kind of system but I'm sure Cobes could fuck it up in short order and that could get really expensive.

The biggest issue I think, is if he has his own home that considerably increases the likelihood of Methica moving in...

Any long term commitments will probably end in some serious fuck-up, destruction of property, or constant harassment from the A-Logs.

Cobes will also invite over people who will fuck him over, steal, and just be general pieces of shit. His current piece of Wendy’s Ass would try and find a way to live there — and that will result in a horrible situation with the police, one way or the other.

Clint also knows Cobes will destroy the place. He doesn’t clean, his spaces or himself. He does shit like woodworking indoors and spraying paint (least used to). Anything that breaks will stay that way.

It’s probably a cheaper investment to rent, have him destroy the place, and then get evicted.
