Rag doll effect in action, but seriously cobes can take a lot of minor problems in his stride due to built up immunity an lower body awareness and currently what's left of his youth this sort of resilliance wont last much longer.

In the ones that they do add it to it's is scaled towards children but as @Trapped Under Rice said it's not a component of this stuff he's taking, the stuff works at least the stuff I know about by irritating your stomach to the point you puke, the problem is Josh already has a inflamed GI tract because of his poor diet an alcohol abuse so it's less likely to work.

Cobes is holding up normal Zzzquil here. The only active ingredient here is diphenhydramine (benadaryl). Looking at the ingredient lists there does not seem to be any added emetics. Cough medicine abusers usually do it for dextromethorphan (DXM) which is not present in this product. The effects of high doses of benadryl are quite unpleasant (dry mouth, paranoia, seeing bugs, hearing voices), whereas DXM is more similar to ketamine. Combined with alcohol, zzzquil would knock you out much faster, probably before feeling too much from the diphenhydramine. Plus Cobra can barely handle the taste of liquor, I doubt he's chugging nyquil. If you start seeing empty boxes of Coricidin HPB, it's time to worry.

Inveterate cough medicine abusers typically take Coricidin HPB. You can buy a box of 24 pills and take them all at once without getting sick. Most Coricidin varieties contain chlorpheniramine maleate, which acts as an emetic, but HPB does not. Regardless, liquid formulations are too voluminous to actually get enough doses to trip. Also, due to the bitter taste of the drug (a natural consequence of its chemistry) it will usually make you vomit in its liquid form. There are bitter taste buds receptors in your stomach that will make you vomit without the need of an added emetic. Pills are usually "enteric coated" meaning they pass through the acidic environment of the stomach and dissolve in the slightly basic environment of your small intestines where they are absorbed into the blood. Thus bypassing the receptors in the stomach and allowing you to overdose a bit more easily.

Part of me wonders if Josh has just got a cold and thought it was a easy way to get high of the medicine and he's just gone an bought what the BoglimBucks will allow he wont have looked into the brands and composition he just knows that "Cough meds can get you high" and bought what he thinks is best hoping he get's a trip.

The problem is if he get's used to using OTC drugs and abusing them he will start building them into his cycle so he'll go from not drinking with it to drinking with it and being on such a wild an wacky mix he ends up doing some serious harm to himself.

Cobra has no real political ideology. He is a human sponge with a 12 year old's intellectual capacity. The only issue he really cares about is weed being legal. You could lock him in a room with a huge playlist of Vaush videos and he would come out as a devote socialist. Redditors just want another "Nazi" to scream about into the void.
