I think the gums are just so inflamed they're overtaking the teeth...

‘why do people watch him?’

I think he’s a fascinating piece of psychology and admitted retardation. Does the complete opposite of what you tell him, simply because you suggested it. Will have to ‘customise’ everything to point it’s absurd be bizarre. Will walk around like a crazy homeless man wearing a dog collar, crumpled hat, and clothes worn to the point they are a different colour than started. Yet will delete a stream because he failed a ‘challenge’ and thinks it makes him look bad.

Early viewers think he was an interesting goofball. Those from the ‘golden years’ saw him starting to go off the rails but he still was making good content. New fucks just wanna see him drink till he falls over, chokes on his vomit to death, or accidentally burns to death trying to cook shit before passing out
watching his newer stuff is always interesting because despite the fact that he does nothing but sit there, drink and huff air duster he really truly believes that he will still achieve all his dreams,. He really thinks that he is just days away from getting everything he wants, but I am honestly expecting him to eat it before anything close to that happens, especially now that he is doing air duster.

It was me. I am honestly at a loss for words. I studied and practiced for nearly two decades and have never actually seen what is going on here.

The last time we saw his teeth clearly, he had extreme decay at the very base of his teeth, mostly at the tops. (See picture included for a reference)
This pattern of tooth decay is caused by a diet very high in liquid sugar. (Energy drinks, soda, sugary alcoholic beverages... everything that cobes drinks) it can be exacerbated by eating greasy foods and not brushing. The film of fatty acids sticks to the teeth, and acts as an attractant for the sugars and starches. its a perfect haven for decay bacteria.

But what we are seeing now if really baffling me. From what I can see, I dont think he has ground his teeth down. I can't be sure whats happening without a clearer photo, but I suspect its one of two things.

He might have MASSIVE inflamation going on in his gum tissue that has now lead to the development of Gingival hyperplasia. This basically means the underlying soft tissue of gum at the base of his teeth have died and yeeted themselves, and as a last ditch effort his body is trying to produce new gum tissue to cover up the decay and infection. I have NEVER seen a case as bad as his if this is what it is. I found a photo online similar to what may be going on, but even a "severe" example online is not even close to the cobdition of cobes.

The second possibility is that, something has changed in either his diet or brushing habits. Cobes mentioned a while ago he had started brushing again in an effort to save his teeth. if he had started brushing, then suddenly just stopped again after brushing, the body can paradoxically sometimes over produce plaque (compare to over washing your wash and suddenly getting oily skin from washing to frequently. Sorta the same concept here) if cobes was going crazy and trying to frequently brush his teeth to undo years of damage, then suddenly stop, that plaque overgrowth could have begun.

Plaque that is allowed to remain on the teeth hardens up and becomes tartar (calculus). This stuff CANT be brushed off and must be removed in a dental office. The problem is often times if tartar growns onto and over teeth that are severly decayed, during the removal of the tartar the whole tooth snaps off with it. Whats intresting is this level of tartar growth is usually on the bottom front teeth, not the top. Perhaps his diet has something to do with it.

Again, i cannot say which of these options is whats happening to cobes without a better photo, but neither are good, and he is past the point of no return now. Whether its in the next month or next year, he is loosing his teeth.

Im so sorry for the nightmare fuel photos. I was trying to find the closest to what I think is happening to cobes.

The rate at which his mouth is deteriorating is alarming. His gums look like they have crossed that threshold where there will be little to save them. He could start going to the dentist monthly for deep scale cleanings (they basically scrape all the diseased flesh off your gums) and it wouldn't help.

Sadly, he might be at the point where a gum transplant is needed. It sounds weird but it is a thing and it is exactly what it sounds like. The gum tissue from what little I know of the procedure is taken from cadavers. I do believe they can use healthy gum tissue from the roof of your own mouth but that might not be an option for Cobes.

Now upon further inspection of the picture, aside from gum disease, Cobes seems to be suffering from gingival fibromatosis, which is the opposite of gum recession. Basically the gums are growing over his teeth (unless his teeth are just crumbling away which is why there is very little tooth material in this pic.)

Regardless are of the real diagnosis, his mouth looks like it will need anywhere from $10,000 to $25,000 worth of work and surgery to be healthy again.

Cobes is a walking PSA for flossing your damn teeth.
