That is a very good point, While Josh is living on his own he requires someone to assist him with some fundamental things like paying his bills and buying food (not that he can't feed himself but that the money would be spent on Booze before food) and that should say something about what he can an can't do and that precludes taking care of an Animal.

I was kinda hoping that Josh was "Getting better" in some small fashion, because he honestly did seem to be trying in his own way to genuinely take care of Puff an seemed to really care about Puff, and lately seemed to be improving in that care but he ended up loosing Puff because he doesn't know how to handle or care for any animal including himself.

I honestly was kind of surprised that josh actually did seem to try taking mildly decent care of puff, reptile carpet isn't great but at least he didn't just throw random sand in there, and even though he did it wrong he was at least trying to give puff veggies and fruit and not just bugs which is more than I've seen fully functioning people do. His dad for sure should have either helped him or gotten someone to take care of it for him, but I hate that people are trying to act like josh left him to starve or something I dont think he would have done that

I 100% believe the story that he went out to smoke with Puff on his shoulder like a badass pirate while probably babbling like an idiot and filming himself. I own a dragon as well. They'll sit on your shoulder while you walk around and do whatever and be chill 99% of the time but they'll jump off of anything at any injurious height for seemingly no reason. They're viewed as stupid and lazy oafs but they can be fast as fuck when they need or want to be and can squeeze into small spaces such as through chain link fences.

Hopefully someone else found him and took him in. Imagining Cobra chasing him around the apartment grounds, holding up his pants with one hand and his hat and a cigarette in the other, simultaneously having his delusions that Puff loves him and is somehow connected to him absolutely shattered is pretty funny to me.

It would have been fine if he let Josh keep it but was heavily involved and guided him on caring for a lizard. But of course, Mr. Saunders was too busy. He could have actually used this as a way to (try) and teach Josh some responsibility, he at least had motivation. But it's likely that Clint doesn't have the patience to deal with Josh anymore or, is outright afraid of him. People often forget that Josh admits to having a fiery temper and has talked about punching his dad before for taking his cigarettes. And you know he’s probably already giving himself a hard time for it. He’s definitely in the bog chair right now, tears in his eyes and with thoughts about how much of a “balding ugly retard who can’t take care of his animal” he is is undoubtedly on repeat in his head. People act like he’s incapable of self reflection but there’s moments he clearly realizes how far gone he is, before quickly switching back to pretending to be super cool because the act is really all he’s got left and it’s all he really knows.
