Cluster B shit (personality disorders, for those not into psych babble) is weird. It's very hard to figure out why someone develops these disorders, but it definitely seems to be both nature and nurture. BPD seems to be at least a little bit genetically heritable, although it's hard to parce out when the parent also has BPD and treats the kid like shit.

Suffice to say that there are a lot of BPD cases with seemingly no "event" that causes them. Sure, some BPD chicks (mostly chicks) get raped as kids or whatever, but there's seemingly equal numbers who had cushy, easy lives with their biggest trauma being a death of a grandparent or something most people get through OK at their age.

I think there's a likelihood that Jessica's Mom and Daddio have some seriously fucked genes that they passed to her. Her Mom might have done all sorts of drugs while pregnant (a lot of BPD Mothers do this).

And as others noted, it's really hard to figure out if these folks truly were abused because they are lying liars who lie.

That perfectly encapsulates everything about her. IMO it's proof she was born insane. It also shows why her household is a dumpster fire. It seems she's been nothing but an unemployed leech her entire life with no goals or ambitions other than chatting on the Internet in her room and getting high. She's filled with indignation because her stupid parents just don't understand that it's hard to be an adult and not get high or get a job, and her parents resent her because she's nuttier than squirrel turds and won't go to counseling or get help and instead fights with them, screams, argues, and gets high and sits on her ass all day. Her parents are elderly and most likely didn't understand her mental illness as she was younger and assumed she was just a rowdy rebelling teen and by time they realized what was wrong it was too late, she was 18 and in VA it's nearly impossible to get admission for involuntary psychiatric treatment.

Kind of but if you've seen her old LiveJournal entries her attitude and personality have always been the same. Many entries detailing how she wishes she could kill her mom or that her parents would die or something. From I think 2003 to 2006 she made a lot of entries. The account has since been deleted but many screencaps were preserved for the upcoming thread. Her old youtube channel, now deleted, contained food reviews from the 2010s and she is much more sober and calm, but still the same entitlement and victim complex.

ETA: I don't think she has had a job since she worked at Home Depot, which she did hold down for several years.

It seems that many bpd/bipolar woman have a sudden onset of symptoms in their early to mid 20's.

Often the symptoms will plateau as they learn to cope/find a psychotropic cocktail that works for them. Many of these women go through cycles of relative mental health and taking their meds and going off their meds and having the symptoms exacerbated by psyche med withdrawal.

Jessica seems stuck in the non-compliant phase. I'm not even convinced her behavior is pathological, she may just be a shit person.

She sets off all kinds of warning bells though and reminds me of a previous acquaintance who was a deeply troubled bipolar/bpd young lady who od'ed and died in her early 30's. She exhibited many of the horrible behaviors Jessica does.

Jessica's splitting(either LOVES you or HATES you, nothing in between). Her manic phases where she seems full of energy and almost high. Then, like a switch was flipped, she'll become despondent, suicidal, and hateful.

The abusive language is par for the course(not the incest) as well as battling everything from the internet to her neighbors to her parents.

The constant need for validation. Failure to distinguish bad attention from good attention. Feeling as if someone doesn't care about you UNLESS they choose to fight with you. Baiting Josh into innane meaningless fights and escalating the more she is refused.

All of it is basically textbook bipolar/bpd/anxiety disorder. Mix all this with a horrible disgusting incest obsessed retarded whore and you get Josh's natural nemesis. He just hasn't realized yet.

The closer she gets the more she'll ruin his life and mental health. As long as she is unhappy and disturbed Josh will have to be also. Misery truly loves company.

I bet she privately suicide baits Josh and has threatened to kill herself if he leaves her. That's yet another text book manifestation.

I truly feel deeply rooted disgust and simmering hatred when I see the way she manipulates everyone around her. When she gets in her self depricating despondent loop i just feel rage. I know what kind of damage her type does.

Josh deserves someone at least as apathetic and easy to get along with as he is. Nobody deserves the hell Jessica creates.

all i get from this is that shes jealous of her sister and is most likely a lesbian or bisexual. she seems to love complaining but has no interest in taking any action to fix the things she complains about. she expects everyone to know how shes feeling and cater to her every need. she could be genuinely depressed but her generally awful attitude just makes people hate her.

the things she wants in life she will never get because shes so hung up on the things she should have gotten in the past. she could very easily make her own life and cut contact with all the people in her life that make her sad or dont care enough about her but she knows if she does that she wont have anyone to blame but herself and at the end of the day thats what shes afraid of the most. you see this behavior even during her last visits with cobes.

the second she starts blaming herself she starts to fall apart mentally. i am curious what her sister was actually like and if she was the oldest or youngest. because at least going from these posts it really sounds like she was generally awful to begin with but it just got worse the more things happened that she could latch onto an make herself into a victim from.
