You're probably right but if he gets to sepsis he has a better chance to survive than late stage alcoholism. There is a possibility of intervention which would mean he's hospitalized and put on antibiotics. Then they will likely remove his teeth and treat infections.

You would be surprised how many shut-ins like Cobra exist around us. I did a delivery gig for a bit on the side a few years ago and it's mostly poor neighbourhoods ordering fast food delivery on the regular. I once dropped off a 7-11 chicken bucket, ice cream tub and 2L Sprite to some deathfat living in an apartment across the street from the store.
There's a lot of drivers there because it's in the middle of nowhere and cold as fuck so all the poor people like Cobra who don't feel like walking (because they cannot afford a car) to get their slop call for delivery. Doordash also pays significantly more than what a local place would pay you as a driver. Last time this topic was brought up it looked like they were paying 4$ an hour more than the average. However, we know for certain that the same driver has delivered to him more than once as they posted about it on reddit. IIRC the woman from windy city delivery (booze) also posted about it on facebook. (or maybe it was a gayop, I can't remember)
I don't have them on hand, but can attest I vividly remember him saying something to this effect at least once in the past. First apartment, I believe.
The only answer is to livestream their lives and wire the donations to the local government as a substitute for taxes.
