This statement is ass but you already knew that. If I was to dig deep, this is Cobes trying to cope and is trying to hide the pain by acting like it's no biggie. It sounds stupid, but it's the only thing I can think of that doesn't make Cobes seem completely thoughtless of his buddy Aaron.

The fb groups are hilarious man. There are people making callous jokes about Aaron’s death and laughing it up about how he deserved to die and such and then Cobra streams and they all immediately start clutching their pearls and crying he’s a piece of shit because he isn’t sad enough about Aaron’s death and is making it about himself. Highly regarded behavior.

The alog community that formed around Josh on the main and secondary Reddit pages has always been unhinged. They will on one hand say that Josh is a piece of shit liar that never tells the truth about a single thing and then in another post talk about how Josh is a piece of shit because he said he jerked off near a retarded girl in the woods.

Josh is both an evil mastermind constantly scamming people out of money that doesn't deserve to live and the biggest retard on the planet that constantly lies and can't do anything right. There is no logic with these people. The Reddit was a great source of Cobra related art but it getting shut down was overall a good thing in my opinion. The secondary Reddit page specifically was filled with a-logs that would post pictures of them harassing Josh over text.

I stepped away for a bit only to return and find out Aaron is no longer with us? This is deeply troubling, and it's clear this situation has taken a darker turn. For now, I think it’s best to distance myself. It’s hard not to connect this to Josh and Jessica—call me weak, but I can’t look at them without questioning everything.

His response seems typical of the alcoholic unwilling to change even when seeing another alcoholic die. When Cobes says he was a bigger alcoholic he is consciously reassuring himself that he is okay and the consequences of alcoholism are away from him. At least he isn't bad enough to be embarrassing or dead. Of course both happen eventually at his rate. Josh is getting to the age where his body isn't going to heal like before and what was an embarrassing phase will turn into cirrhosis. Maybe he really is too stupid to know.

She's trailer trash and will move on to someone else immediately but there's blood on her hands and hers alone. If you know an alcoholic struggling and you tell them you're not going to talk to them over Christmas you're rolling the suicide dice. Men spending Christmas alone in situations like this are going to kill themselves. He's been rejected and told he's not wanted while the people he cares about are excluding him from one of the most important events of the year. The weather and lack of sun already drags mental health down and this is the push many men need to pull the trigger. If you're ever in the same situation do not ghost someone like Aaron at Christmas. Use Christmas to talk to them and get involved in helping them and then walk away after Christmas if you can't resolve it.
