The second gave me +$20k (wtf) credit line, 7% apr, and a 0% introductory rate so I'm moving all my credit onto that.

I see null chose the remdi note 8. Does anyone know if the camera is decent? Like in practice are the pictures pretty good? I'm considering getting one.

The reviews say that it's not as good as you'd expect for the MP but if I'm going to bother taking photos I'd just get a real camera.

Honestly, a smartphone camera only needs to be good enough to take pictures and videos of everyday objects and texts for sharing with people, so that they can tell what's being shown. Anyone that's using a smartphone for actual photography and calling themselves a professional photographer is a really exceptional individual.

It saddens me to see so many kiwis buying with chink defective goods.
Right now you get to choose between giving up all your info to big corporations like Google/Apple/Samsung/etc or the Chinese government and somehow the latter one makes the better phones. At that point, I'd rather let the Chinks know what I fap to because at least I get a phone that doesn't break over something retarded, doesn't explode and doesn't run out in an hour of use.

Get a smartphone where there's development like lineageos going on so you can stay up-to-date with security patches (which manufacturers won't deliver) so you don't end up stuck with an android version where opening a .png literally can get your phone hijacked, as yeah lol has happened with android. Extends the lifetime of that shit by years, especially if you don't care about the prettiest and best otherwise. Wouldn't matter much for a grandma, but I can imagine people could be interested in targeting you with such stuff.

Too bad that's only like 2 devices nowadays. I'm stuck on some phone from the Stone Age because it's the last in its line that had a LineageOS build and I don't want to buy a Samsung.

The best camera is the one you have with you when you need it. Such as the one attached to your surveillance device.

The multi camera modules and "computational photography" on newer phones could let them perform better than you would expect.
