Updates
  • delivery contracts
    • the supply request console has been replaced by the supply order console, where people can pay for their own orders
      • this includes a 50 dollar fee that cargo can pay out once they complete the delivery
    • cargo can still accept or reject these, once accepted the contract is added to the shopping list for the next shuttle flight
      • may just auto accept them if it turns out people dont ever want to reject and are accidentally calling the cargo shuttle without remembering to accept a lot
    • cargo can still order stuff normally
    • in order to 'deliver' a contract, you have to bring the new 'EPOD (electronic proof of delivery)' device to the customer, load the contract, and then hand it to the customer to accept the delivery
      • the customer has to have the same unique identifier (UI) DNA as whoever put in the order
      • the crate needs to be in view in order for them to accept
    • the supply control and supply order console have had their HTML re-organized quite a bit to improve the visual coherency and make them feel better
    • this lays groundwork for future 'delivery' type things other than just buying from cargo
  • a lot of supply pack prices seem to suck or be absurd, calling on volunteers to improve on that for any cargo they care about
    • for instance i have just changed metal/glass sheets from a base price or $600 and 50 sheets (retarded) to a base price of $100 and 250 sheets
  • in-hand sprites for some items that didn't previously have them (@MAAAD)
  • plasma flooding fixed (scrubbers were not able to fully siphon it out hence the sporadic fires forever) (@HahaYes)
  • some roundend jingles (@MAAAD)
  • can now eject material stacks from autolathe (@MAAAD, pastelwoodchipper)
  • hoverpod space speed boosed (@MAAAD)
  • egun fire rate significantly buffed
  • stun beam buffed from 40 agony to 100

Bug & feature request report @geckogoy
  • Space is very barren, needs more space ruins;
    • Port some from /vg/?
    • The entire Z-level 6 is literally just empty space;
  • Add a rocket launcher to Secure Armory?
    • Alternatively add a supply crate/protolathe recipe for the launcher and its ammo;
  • Uncomment BoH-teleporter und nukedisk-teleporter interactions;
  • Implement mime mecha;
    • What were its unique exosuit tools anyway?..
  • Xenos don't bleed out (intentional?);
    • They don't even spawn xeno blood upon death despite it being part of their dead sprite;
  • Xenos are still immune to explosions;
  • Add psychedelic sprites for the rest of chameleon clothing (EMP interaction, chameleon.dm);
    • These need to be drawn by resident spriters, I couldn't find a codebase that has them really;
  • No/broken in-hand sprites for:
    • glowing slime extract;
    • penlight;
    • all sorts of plants, including carved pumpkin ( @xXEddie.DurellXx , if you're interested...);
    • seed packets;
  • Need unique in-hands for:
    • lantern;
    • synthetic flash;
  • Broken sprites:
    • poison berries;
    • death berries;
  • Missing mob backpack sprite:
    • PTR-7 rifle;
  • You cannot perform melee attacks in combat mecha if you have any piece of equipment engaged (which is the case 99% of the time);
    • You can't disengage the equipment without ejecting it or engaging another either;
  • Battle mechs melee attacks against objects (walls, windows, lattices) are broken and don't actually destroy them;
    • Can't attack tables, airlocks, consoles, machinery, etc;
  • Maybe port Medical Beamgun for Odysseus mecha from TG/other codebases;
  • Ghost verb in OOC should succumb you if you're in crit;
  • Add a Suicide verb to IC tab;
  • Looks like explosions don't damage bots (?);
  • Rocket projectiles are always facing south for some reason;
  • HMG mecha gun shouldn't be available in the mechfab right away;
    • should have a mechfab recipe that requires high levels of combat and other research like for all of the other exosuit guns;
  • SFX for steps like on more modern servers?
  • Add ability to cauterize your own wounds with surgical cautery (you can burn your wounds shut with a welder but not with a tool that was made for it?);
  • Airlocks and firelocks should break down into assemblies if damaged even more after breaking;
  • Fix escape pods not departing;
    • Alternatively just delete them entirely;
  • EPOD scanner is outputting a debug message to the world;
  • Clipboard should be able to collect all of the paper on a given tile like on /vg/;
  • Monkey cubes don't disappear if Xenos soak them in water from the sink;
  • Larvas shouldn't be able to burst out of dead monkeys/humans;
  • Add a short sleep() before roundend jingles play to improve consistency.

Add ability to cauterize your own wounds with surgical cautery (you can burn your wounds shut with a welder but not with a tool that was made for it?);
You can at minimum do this at the moment for incisions, get yourself on a table and it actions as a surgery step

That's true, but it's not nearly as robust as clicking yourself with it while standing in order to cauterize the wound like you can now do with welders.

I tried this, you cant sleep during Restart you need to do something else like predict the round end in the ticker and fire the jingle a couple seconds before (I already forgot if your thing is in the ticker or not so possibly disregard)

I can make this better later, this is just a proof of concept idea.

I thought the same, I like the colors on the newer banners that use the black and red with a nice popcorn texture. I have no idea what to use in place of popcorn, also I do plan to add some kind of text for the red bar. Maybe some color changes, better photos for backgrounds, etc.
 
I can swap out the artwork as well
If any of us have the time/can be bothered and this goes anywhere, each week the screenshot side could be swapped out for some dumb bullshit that's been posted in the thread such as screencaps etc. Also maybe either change the font of the text on the red bar, or make it bold so it's easier to read at a glance. Last thing is maybe align KIWI with SS13 as it's a smidge off kilter

What about the splash screen? Potentially just get the station itself without the title text
 
If you notice, movie night is also not aligned perfectly with the logo. I will see how the splash screen looks.
I will experiment more.
 
I like /vg/'s insectoids, specifically getting "Zneed" over the radio.

Left side probably needs some more thought at this stage (right seems mostly good) also I think we technically dont have anything called ritalin (although perhaps we should, anyhow we do have 'ryetalyn'). I duno I guess the red thing would be a new line every time anyhow

The Ritalin thing is a joke about how autistic this game is. Also, for the left side bit, I'm thinking a screenshot of us in game doing something, does anyone have any good screenshots or suggestions for something else there?
