So, I picked up TP again. I decided to ultimately forego 100%ing it, because the rewards for the Cave of Ordeals and the Poe Souls sidequests weren't worth the effort, I felt. I'm right at the end now, and I can say that, despite me liking it overall, the game seriously wears out its welcome by the Palace of Twilight. That being said, Hyrule Castle is probably my favorite final stretch of Zelda game, because the lack of music makes the whole thing both foreboding and creepy.

Twilight Princess’ ending is fucking great. Hyrule Castle being a fun dungeon with the culmination of supporting and antagonistic characters (Bulblin King actually talking was kino) with the Zelda fight and Beast Gannon fight capping things off.
Wind Walker’s ending is also top, with the King if Red Lions stopping Gannondorf last minute. The only Zelda ending that comes close is Skyward Sword’s, and that is entirely because Groose is the best Zelda character.

Midna really just looks like one of the leftovers of the windwaker artstyle. her eyes and proportions are just basically a windwaker character when you look at her. That and the models of the various starting town NPCS are basically "windwaker style models with realistic shading added on"

I might've brought this up before already at some point but the characters that got cut from TP during development are ones I would have wanted to see in the game after I found out about their existence.

So, I literally just beat the game and can say that all the things people say about it are true. It's not the greatest entry in the series and has quite a few flaws, but is, at it's core a really good game that's being held together by great dungeon designs and tons of little moments.

Some thoughts about the inclusion of Ganondorf: I can see why people say he shouldn't have been in the game, but he didn't bother me at all because he's so unintrusive that he doesn't overshadow Zant, and the final confrontation is pretty epic. Not Wind Waker levels of epic, but Ocarina of Time levels of epic. I just think it's too easy, which kinda deflates the tension built up by going through Hyrule Castle. Also, it's a pretty good iteration of Ganondorf, so I'm cool with it.

Good game overall, probably won't play it again though.

She looks nothing like the luigi grandpa guy and doesn't use bombs so not exactly. I did see the yoda thing though.
