Even though the Mayersons have given out a statement saying that they weren't hacked, I honestly hope they changed their password or something.

On the off chance that Len got his hands on the account through poor password protection, changing the password would, at least, deny Len another sockpuppet and at most, prevent someone from actually associating this lawyer's name with Len's insufferable bullshit.

You know, assuming that it's Len behind the weird messages on the account and not the actual lawyer, and I still refuse to believe someone is that stupid.

Ah, shit. I thought I remember reading you saying that you got a message back from the younger Mayerson saying that the hacking concern was "a waste of time," so I interpreted that as either them believing that they weren't hacked or that they believed it wasn't enough of a concern to pursue.

I was referring to this post:

I called his son's law office. It seems that Mayerson is aware of the issue. And apparently has had "difficulties" with Facebook in the recent past. Although no hacking problems.

The son was also upset that I was "wasting his time" (I'm not sure how my concern that there is strong evidence that his dad is being hacked is wasting his time, but I digress). So that's that. Mayerson is now definitely well aware of the issue. Hopefully he was just hacked and life will get back "normal" for him. Either way, I wash my hands of the matter.

NB. The younger Mayerson was also careful to note that his father was not associated with his firm. Take that to mean what you will.

After reading this, it got me to thinking about Mayerson's past "difficulties" with Facebook (his son wasn't very specific, but said his account had been doing strange things). And then I found this:

I don't care how crazy someone is. No well-educated person (and Mayerson clearly is) would go out of their way to encourage this absolute abortion of a "novel."

He's definitely a bit eccentric. And defending Montieth (one of the Shaner-Kaufman-Montieth triad of Pennsyltucky village idiots/assholes) is suspect -- although Mayerson and Montieth go way back in the same small town (Birchrunville), which might explain the loyalty.

But, as a lawyer myself, I know some hotheaded, bullying lawyers. And (1) Mayerson does not seem the type, and (2) If he was the type, I have never seen that type (the lawyer who makes ridiculous legal threats) back down immediately when challenged. And Mayerson's Facebook has backed down.

Again, I believe he was probably hacked/password-sniped by Shaner. Which, with all due respect, @I'm With Chris, does make Shaner relevant here (even though yes, Pennsyltucky is filled with an exceptional number of "exceptional individuals" -- see, e.g., Nick Bate).

That said, we'll have definitive proof one way or the other soon enough. Either Mayerson is sitting at Lennay's table on August 10 or he isn't.

Until then, let's try to give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes, he's weird, but he doesn't look like a cow to me (so far).

Kengle wasn't funny and sociopathic (the key ingredients for lulz with Lennay). He was pathetic and clueless. And he consistently, ahem, "derailed" otherwise legitimate threads that weren't about him (especially the OPL stuff).

But this thread is about Len. And his presence here has created some great new content: The great doxxing saga, the (presumed) Mayerson hack, accidentally confirming several of the delicious @Gook Choy stories, etc.

Doesn't look like a cow at all to me, he simply posts stuff on the internet. The stuff we saw on Facebook defending Len was cow behavior - but we have not confirmed that was actually Hy.

If you want to interact with him, that's on you. I really recommend not doing so.
