Solid gold as always. I feel like I could spend hours breaking down this insanity, but I'll just point out the two biggest things that stood out to me.

1. So, okay, there's not exactly a lack of evidence that Id is clearly full of shit and making things up, dude has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. But even in light of that, saying "the news estimates it's X" just really sells he's LARPing. Especially if he's supposed to be a super elite intelligence officer. Nobody in the field, especially an intelligence post, would go with media estimates right after an event. Especially if someone who is on the field and leading the event says it was X. Even in the media, there have been both Ukrainians and other experts commenting on how difficult it is for the news to capture the reality of war.

2. Saying "the fucking mentality of everyone thinking they are the protagonist of life if they have a gun" is hilarious coming from Id, who frequently acts like he's a video game protagonist and openly refers to himself as such. Especially since he then goes on to describe himself like a guy who thinks he's the main character because he has a gun.

Someone update me on the Dark Id lore, is he claiming to have served with the military, or has he always been this super elite Solid Snake mercenary? I heard he lives in Canada, but also mentions that he was in the US military, but he also seems to criticize said military. I mean, given the way he talks, it doesn't sound like he served at all or even understands what a military is, but has he ever clarified his backstory?

I'm guessing the answer is no because it would spoil his LARP, but has he ever said the name of his totally real PMC?

I was mildly curious and did a little bit of Googling, so I'm by no means claiming to be an expert. Not like we really need any further proof to dispel Dark ID's claims. Or any proof at all because it's so over the top. In any event, while there are some PMC groups in Ukraine, it is apparently very limited and most PMCs (the article even mentions Western ones specifically) aren't interested in getting involved. Some of it is payment issues, some of it is the way mercenaries aren't protected like normal soldiers, which I know has been discussed frequently in threads more focused on the conflict. The ones that have been hired were either for private protection or extraction. Not going on active combat missions like Dark ID is insisting.

This is also a bit of a nitpick, but I noticed Canadian articles tend to use the term PSC as opposed to PMC, but overall PMC appears to be the more common phrase. I'm really just amazed (and highly entertained) by how bad he is at LARPing. This is the kind of stuff you'd expect from a cringy 16 year old. Adults usually try and make their lies sound somewhat believable.

the TL;DR is PMCs don't want to get involved in Ukraine because Ukraine is slavic and thus has a slav's respect for human life - that is, none. Ukraine is beating everyone's expectations at combat effectiveness, but that is because they are fighting a defensive war and everyone is realizing how overly hyped Russian military was, even when you take into account they are not thunderrunning due to risk of a no-fly zone being implemented. No one trusts Ukranian chain of command to protect their people and/or relay battlespace to them. Everyone also saw in 2014 how quickly Ukraine defenses can crumble.
They aren't (or at least weren't) even taking beans & bullets gigs (aka front line supply delivery) because of how fucked up everything is at the front. You can hear some stories from the Ukranina Legion if you want a concept of how fucked up fighting for Ukraine is.

The last wonkinating I heard though was there were PMC running private armies with blessings of the powers that be, they were just masquerading as Ukrainian militia. But in general Ukraine doesn't need to hire mercs to buff its front lines - it just needs to give some cash and weaponry to its own citizens.

Russia on the other hand seems to be fully outsourcing military operations to Wagner, including CAS piloting.

Now, to be fair our LARPing general, someof the best PMCs like always are being hired stealthily and quietly. But as you said, they are doing mostly internal shit like training and maybe some low-level target spotting. Definitely not engaging in firefights to the scale that 500 russians would be taken out in one airstike.

Also, just again....
Unless they dropped a couple cluster muntitions while the Russians were linking arms and singing, its nearly impossible 500 let alone 1500 troops were taken out in a single strike.

Its always fun to (over) document these smoking guns because its possible they will make their way to this faggot's discord and a true believer might ask him about it.

Can confirm. Number Two is a dirty fuck.
I did both sex and tongue kissing with number two in ukraine. She blew me while she set up sniper shots on a Russian six-star general (shit was so cash) and did this cool thing where she fired one shot on a really high trajectory so it would take longer to travel to the target and then fired one level so they hit at the same time and the Nazi Russians we were killing thought there were two snipers. That actually happened and all the Russian guys were so scared that there were two bad ass sniper chicks out there they all pooped their pants and it smelled awful and someone got it on camera and put it on the news. But it was Ukrainian local news so you wouldn't have seen it.

Honestly, it does seem like he's got serious issues and I'm a bit hesitant to make fun of him for whatever reason even though I already have (Yeah, yeah, I know where I am).

Now that Id lore is all the rage, I can go back and post this pre-meltdown, post-daughter death story. This was August 10 2019, and is a story about the origin of Id's PSN name and his modern internet name, which also features shitting on the glowies, except for the female one, who he saved by carrying her, and she was getting headshots while riding on him.

This is one of the only pre-Ukraine mode Id stories I can find in the dump, but it is noticably more coherent, including the use of actual quotation marks. On one hand, the depiction of the incompetent chain of command sounds reasonable, but the way he writes it like an action scene just rubs me the wrong way. I think this is halfway between true and false, especially the story about the psych major. There probably was a major who said the phrase "dark id" but the timeline just feels wrong.
Checking the LParchive and the thread dates, Id started doing screenshot LPs in 2007, had a gap in ~April 2008, and came back with Drakengard in 2009. The next gap is after Metal Gear Ghost Babel, There IS a very small timeframe where the Agent Grave story could have happened, at which point id returns to a position where he can both make Lets Plays over the next 3 years, take another hiatus from 2012-2015 where he can bolster his military career enough to do security for politicians.
