Well maybe, if that Gadget scene is a metaphor. Gadget is one of those flashpoint characters like Lola Bunny that created a lot of Furries. So, if her having a massive number of literal Cronenberg Fly babies is a metaphor for the human monstrosities she inspired in real life, then it's give this movie a chance.

Yeah, I just don't think the movie deserves to be defended given that the name of it alone lies to you about what you're going to get if you have no clue what's going on.

Even though it garnered a cult following, it's not as popular especially during its run. So no, that doesn't count. It'll be like if I mentioned Fillmore, Pepper Ann, or Dave the Barbarian even though they're not as popular. Sure, maybe Weekenders and especially Proud Family, but not Gargoyles.

Reminds me of Space Jam 2 last year which everyone was shitting on and I also thought was reasonably amusing.

The voice actor for zipper sounded familiar too. Looked it up and saw he was played by Dennis Haysbert, a black guy. Furries got cucked on every level imaginable. It's glorious.

Frankly a part of me wants to believe that the "joke" was a deep and important sounding voice coming out the mouth of a character originally known for speaking only in squeaks and chirps, since it is a fairly common joke to make.... Then I remember the hacks who wrote this crap aren't talented enough to pull of that kinda humor.

Having watching the movie is was kind of fucked what they did to Peter Pan with it being pretty close to what happened Bobby Driscoll. If this wasn't a Disney movie I could let it go but just feels wrong to use what they did to Bobby Driscoll in their own movie and profiting from it.
