Perhaps call me going a bit soft here, but in ways this is sad.
Lucas DOES need a normal life, but with his illness and being an all around pervert and bad person it will never happen.

He is a dreamer.

He's socially a mess.

He's just a weird lonely old person and nothing will be able to make him happy and a large part of it is his own behavior and a dash of the mental illness.

His best option and path is take your god damn meds, clean your fucking dishes. Stock shelves move into a group home jack off and watch cartoons with the other exceptional individuals. It's not much a life, but it's better than eating under cooked meat rambling about raping kids for Science like he's Bill Nye the kid fucking guy and being an internet laughing stock that broke your parents hearts.

Sure it's sad, but from reading his posts for a long time and seeing how he interacts with people, especially people that seem to legitimately try to offer advice or support, he's pure id. I look at his interactions and see it as being in no way different than people that are alcoholics or drug users. He will continue to do his thing and not listen to anyone b/c he genuinely believes there's nothing wrong with himself. He's right, he has the "science" and the rest of the world is wrong.

Like every addict, there can't be any positive change until he admits that he has a problem. And he refuses to do that. Whether it's his ego, or narcissism, mental illness, or a combination of all of it, he's incapable of being objective of who he is and how he presents himself to the world.

Every once in a blue moon he'll post something that sounds like he's lucid, but then it's gone after a few minutes. I remember reading a post from his mom where she said something similar, how he'll snap out of his bullshit for a bit, and he'll break down and cry realizing he doesn't want to be like this anymore. But then he's right back at telomeres and fibonacci sequences, etc. I feel bad for his mom to have to see her child go through this, but if he doesn't want to face facts for whatever reason, he'll forever end up alone and blaming the world for not delivering him the pussy he's clearly entitled to and deserves more than anyone else.

Even if he was autistic to some degree, most autistic people are able to learn the basics of social interaction and conversation in order to build a rapport. I do wonder if it's a manifestation of his mania however, seeing as an overactive libido (and need to be the center of attention) is a common symptom of bipolar. There is nothing wrong with having a high libido - people still live healthy lives - but it's when it gets in the way of things, i.e. basic conversation or respecting people's space/personal boundaries is when it becomes a problem.

I've noticed that too. It's as if he's been taking the advice of some of the PUA hacks cows, then deciding to apply that in practice - especially with the scripted, almost robotic conversations he has when he creeps on women. One of the strange, and arguably misguided notions PUAs hold is that women can somehow be seduced with a few "magic" keywords or phrases, and as such work on a "script". It's as if they're not people at all, but robots that can be programmed to do whatever the creep wants with a few choice words. If the creep follows the "techniques" described in the script to the letter, the poor woman in their eyes is not allowed to say "no". It's why PUAs (and the creeps that try this stuff) often get so salty (and even aggressive) when a woman rejects them, even after they've tried all of their tricks.

Lucas has seemed to have taken this particular notion to heart, and has seemingly dabbled in the PUA game by preaching his nonsense to the poor folks at Spokane's homeless shelters.

Does Lucas have any friends at all outside the Facebook asspatters? He's not open to forming relationships that are non-sexual in nature (especially with other men), so I don't imagine that he's one to socialise that much.

If only Lucas put as much effort into socialising as he did creeping on young girls, maybe he'll then have a support network of friends to keep him in check and encourage his recovery. A loving relationship can be important, but having good friends is just as essential.

I honestly think his ego is high enough he buys in he's worth 4 working people getting his welfare. Look at his book the upper class like him (in reality the bottom rung) are paid to travel smoke cigars and live a privlaged life because they are better than engineers doctors janitors etc.

Lucas also has some sense of shame because he knows to lie about owning/renting an apartment when we know he's at a halfway house. Even if the shame is just to make him look better on paper as having his own digs. He knows somewhere he's a leech and bottom rung. How well/fast he hides it from himself we don't know.

I've seen better meals come out of my god daughters toy play dough oven than looking at his "food" he's got net use and people around him. He's got time and free ebt money. No excuse to make those both gross and dangerous dishes.

Last week he said he'd be OK with an 11 year old (not word for word but he much implied it) and pedophiles don't change their stripes.
