He barely ever does videos on his own channel anymore, even boardgame shit. A cheap laugh is all his worthless hide was ever good for and he can't even be bothered for that. If you want to claim being an entertainer is the service you provide society then fucking do your job.

He sometimes posts them to IG, but he's mostly been doing memes lately.

This is exactly the kind of truism that Lucas used to rail against. Anybody remember his "If you want pizza, you've got to go looking for pizza? If you want oxygen you've got to go looking for oxygen?"

And now all of a sudden, the universe will send him who he deserves. Well, apparently, Lucas deserves no one, because that's who the universe is sending him.

Agreed, but I mean he's literally scared of these young women.

He made several videos back in the day about how young atheist girls should be "more christian" (whatever that means) and be aware of how atheist men (meaning only Lucas; it's important to remember that when Lucas speaks of tendencies associated with a group he sees himself in, he's speaking ONLY OF HIMSELF, and trying to mitigate some of his more pathetic social flaws by suggesting that they're not unique to him) are shy and antisocial.

Then this all regressed even further, and he pontificated at length about how atheist girls "came off like lesbians". Forgetting for a moment HOW Lucas thinks he can know strangers' politics and religious attitudes without ever interacting with them, we must remember just how conflicted Lucas is about outward manifestations of liberalism: he very much would like to be seen as a free thinker, a radical, and a revolutionary, but he finds people who assert themselves in this fashion anxiety-provoking. He's spoken many times about how girls who "look punky", with dyed hair,. Piercings, and tattoos, are "trashy". He's voiced his distaste for pins and patches on clothing, and tattoos at great length.

The reality is that Lucas is extremely conservative. His tastes are basic. Comically enough, we've reached a point now where the entire aesthetic of punk, the entire revolutionary costume, has ITSELF become basic and assimilated into capitalism. Lucas's pretenses of political action are wholly reactionary...politics is a cudgel to batter those he's jealous of, and a buttress to his own ego. When he voices attraction to a woman, like a nurse, or a jogger, it's always the most middle of the road, standard, unaffiliated depiction of a woman possible. This is yet another reason why his "stunning dress" pickup line is obviously bullshit. Lucas could give two fucks about women's clothes. He doesn't even care about his own clothing.

Edit: Gee, I seem to recall Lucas eating Reese's like popcorn, and he certainly voiced no objections when Skeletor got him new shoes and a Halloween shirt.

Falling down a rabbit hole of medical TikTok may have just let me figure out what mystery illness it was Lucas had (according to his mom) as a child: Roseola.

It's a common viral infection in little kids and infants, and is generally considered mild but is also marked by several days of an up to 105 fever (which is not considered serious) and a sudden breakout in a full body rash, which sounds a lot like what Myrna was describing in her blog post.

It's basically herpes (type 6 or t y pe 7).

From private conversation with the Wern I’ve found he is very sullen as of late saying things like he will be forever alone and won’t get a girlfriend, doesn’t want to make videos when he is mad etc. I wonder if the meds are helping him see his reality a little clearer now or if he is just trying to garner sympathy by saying woe is me nothing matters. It seems he can very easily oscillate between it doesn’t matter to hell with it all and I have lots of female friends, I’ll get a job and an apartment and a hot 18-24 year old girlfriend. It’s very interesting how he was acting so confident on the podcast but just retreats into sharing stale memes and mooing to what he calls his “small cult following.” I like too how he says he won’t get a girlfriend it doesn’t matter but in the same breath also said I’m doing everything right. Lol

I think the meds are working and they are working because he can’t arbitrarily stop taking them. The longer he is on them the more the horror of his life comes into focus. And the more he ponders the last 15-20 years of his life with a clear mind, the more he is realizing what a complete disaster he has been.

As I said in previous posts, I feel like this is akin to an alcoholic getting sober after 20 years of hardcore drinking and having to face the consequences of all the terrible things they’ve done in those drinking years. It has to be a combination of deep regret and remorse with a shockingly painful rush of self-reflection finding yourself confronted with the reality of what you were.

I am not saying deep down Lucas isn’t still a total piece of shit but now he can make the outlines of what was him and what was his mental illness in all the choices he has made. I always said Lucas would never honestly self examine because the shattering of that barrier he has put up to reality would be like death to him. A total shattering of all his ego defense mechanisms would be like dying. That’s a pain he would never willfully endure. But I think being totally cared for at Mallon and made to stay on his meds has put him into the position where this process is taking place whether he likes it or not.

This either becomes too much for him to handle and he finds a way to escape come spring finding himself back on the streets and as crazy as ever or the long process of recovery and cycle of endless therapy happens and he just fades away from lolcowdom.

I am torn which one I want to see happen as I have an empathetic streak in me and want to see people redeemed but Lucas has proven so many times what a monster he is that part of me wants to see the spectacular end game of his demise on the streets of Spokane.

I’ll keep tuning in regardless.

He's pretty much in a medicated depressive funk (for the most part) which is why we're not seeing videos or many memes that he's made himself.

He's also not at all confident that he'll ever be able to afford to leave Mallon Place or get a job and he's super worried about his feet, which are not healing well at all.
