I’m not sure how many of you are memebers of the SOFALAW group, but I’m starting to find it strange the levels of venom these people have for Lucas. It seems to border upon obsession at this point and takes them down to a level not far above Lucas

A lot of forums are like that. But yeah, Lucas isn't really deserving of all the vitriol- at the end of the day he's really just a schizophrenic homeless man that's terrified of human interaction outside of social media.

Did your professor talk about the difference between wanting a relationship with a child and someone who sexually desires children? I'm not sure if I'm clear, but I'm interested if there is. For instance, with Lucas he's drawn to the controlling aspect, but I'd imagine there are others who are just sexually attracted to them (not that I'm defending it at all). I'm interested to learn more, but feel free to PM me if you feel it might be going off-topic.
Truth. It's one of those things that are done through showing, and if you have to tell someone then you're very likely to be wrong. Ugh, just imagining someone telling me that they're "not creepy" would immediately set off my "nope" meter.

I think some people are unaware aside his insanity his social issues keep him from being a real danger. If he wasn't so scared of interaction, I honestly think he'd get even more hate (and justified) as he'd be a risk to the public. There's a big difference from a disease ridden, hobo pedophile that stands around a park with a boner, and one who tries picking up and running off with a teenager.
I'm sure @Caracticus can expand better being they are actively learning how people tick. But from my understanding and experiences with stuff like this, it's desire first of all, second it's fear and shock. Zealotry of any kind is able to close out simple facts, let's take something like flat earth. They offer 29 dollar or less flights sometimes. Less than a day min wage pay, you can prove flat earth wrong. Anyone into flat earth is fucking nuts and stupid. Period. Why is it a thing? Some people are fucking nuts and stupid. Then things harder to prove, like moon landing, there's a conspiracy attached, people deep into those tend to think the entire world will just dump limitless amounts of time and effort into trolling or to do something to prove a point that doesn't really make sense.
Lastly we have escapism, anti vax falls into it a lot, look sadly not every birth is healthy or safe, sometimes the parents are at fault, genetically, mother poor prenatal care but many times when they do all they can to have and protect a child something goes wrong, guilt racks them. The guilt becomes so life consuming, they can't take the punishment they bring on themselves and boom, shift the blame. When really getting a therapist would be a lot better for everyone instead of creating a super plague.
To be honest, Lucas is so far gone from society and sanity, I really wouldn't want to rule out, even if pedophiles, heebaphiles etc were completely socially accepted he'd still be on this crazy shit. It's part of his peacocking. He has this science no one else knows or can grasp. When really it's about as dumb as when your 6 year old niece tells you her friend can throw a fire ball. Just not when people are looking, or a camera is around. A 6 year old trying to sound cool is perfectly healthy and adorable, Lucas is nearly 40 and trying to science his dick in a kid. Thankfully I'd say the IRL hadoken, probably has a better shot of happening.

Things like that is why I'm ok with him receiving gov. money. He isn't really using the system, (contrary to his claims) the system was made for people like him. He clearly isn't mentally competent enough to function in normal society. Just imagine him working somewhere 8 hours a day. I'm not sure what his tard wrangler is doing but not enough as he probably has to cover a boatload of cases just like him.

Lucas is definitely not making use of the system the way it was suppose to. Even if he wanted to ignore all his mental health issues, he can atleast utilize it to take care of his physical ailments. He also clearly needs a wrangler when it comes to handling his health issues. Then again, maybe the system wants to put Darwinism into play when it comes to Lucas.

I can't imagine the thought process that lead him to that decision, but I can't follow his thought process under the best of circumstances. He needs to take a benedryl and see a doctor.
The system's working as it was designed, he's just too much for it to handle. From what I gather on the Phoenix House website, they're transitional, trying to get these people ready for life on their own. Lucas needs a full time wrangler, maybe a group home situation. He's able to function in some ways on his own, but needs constant pushing in the right direction for things like this.

Idk if Lucas has ever met a baby, but he'd get frustrated at it in 10 minutes.

Yea for him saying how great and all his ego stroking, it's a bit odd he's not able to hold a job, let alone a top end career being a master of science and all. I'm not denying at all he's bonkers and needs support but the fact he refuses to use the system aside getting free money is why a lot of people don't like him getting tard bux. In reality we know soon he will be homeless and back to square one, but in a way I think he likes to be he's the big fish of the shelter in his mind.
Lucas won't get better because his ego, a group home is gonna be the best setting for him. But at the same time the system has to at least grasp Lucas is a lost cause until he becomes humble and accepts his issues.
Reality is Lucas is gonna bounce in and out of shelters to tard homes to jail cells till he dies because he won't suck it up and get help. That's his call and really he's not a danger to society because he's so laughable. It just sucks for all parties sleeping on a park bench for next decade gorging on sushi and rambling about kiddy fucking for the totally not eugenic aryan super baby. I'm glad we don't live in a system that can point a gun at us for mental care, look it's his choice. He's got options, more than most mentally ill in the world he choose to be a perv hobo god bless him and keep making stuff for us to laugh at. But it's also annoying, he gets tard bucks because he wastes them. Seeing his cooking, I think he'd be safer eating out of the trash.

Yup, the Phoenix House is intended for people going through periods of mental health recovery, to be low-cost transitional housing for up to six months until they generate some income and find permanent housing and can support themselves independently.
Instead Lucas repeatedly alternates between several months at a time at the Phoenix House and several months at a time in a psych ward.
In a weird way it sort of works out for him, since while he's institutionalized his disability cheques pile up, and then he lives comfortably stuffing his face and going to restaurants when he's on the outside, instead of having to scrimp. It's probably not the most cost-effective or efficient solution for society as a whole, though.

Had to get my notes so I don't miss something. He distinguished (like you said) between people with a sexual drive directed at children (almost like a sexual orientation) versus someone who is drawn to the emotional immaturity. He thinks Lucas is the second kind. Because of his neurological condition he cannot relate in an adult way to other people, he probably always has frustration or confusion with adults and is probably always being corrected (much to his frustration). Children and young teens are easier for him to relate to. He is the "wise adult" in their eyes, they are less likely to question him and also less likely to understand the sexual nature of his advances so they are less likely to reject him outright. So definitely control is a factor. Funny that he hates everything about "youth culture" but thinks he'll be able to relate to someone who knows nothing other than youth culture.
Must be extra frustrating for him that an age group he thinks he can control is still rejecting him.

This makes perfect sense, Lucas makes youtube videos, that's a one way interaction, he's monologging, and I don't have any problem with people who use YT as a platform, but we see how angry confused and defensive he gets when he's the only one talking.
Lucas defensive behavior shows he's really not socially aware. He's in control being he's shooting the video. When people speak politely or more so lecture unless you say something drastic, or confusing would anyone interrupt or challenge it mid talk. Say your piece own it and move to next point. Aside leaving comments no one can retort or interact with him but after he explains why he wants to be a kid diddler he rants out how you're a bigot in a literal yell. Can you picture how much worse it would be if you sat down and rolled your eyes on his "science"
Even little kids can pick up on this shit even with out those Stranger Danger PSAs that were made to warn kids about Lucas like people.
He wants the perks of adult hood (she is sexual, income earning) but he wants someone who he can control and looks up to him.
