WTF? How the hell can a big, fat, unhinged mentally unstable man be given access, and a free pass, to continually frighten and harass young women? He had to be dragged out be security twice. Does he need to actually hurt a HOC nurse for them to ban him?

I am so in agreement with those who say a big part of Lucas’ entitlement stems from the fact he has never faced serious consequences for his actions. I don’t want to see anyone out in the freezing cold, but at what point is Lucas finally humbled by realizing HE is the reason for his situation? He has burned through every possible safety net society has to offer and he is completely ungrateful for any of it.
Lucas eventually has to go the way of Bulla. There’s no other route for him. It’s just a matter of when.

Low barrier shelters are like dog rescues that think every dog, no matter how fucked up it was by poor breeding, poor socialization, uncorrectable temperament problems, etc...can still make a good, safe pet for someone.
They refuse to see that some things are so far beyond help that euthanizing the animal would be far kinder to it than to keep it alive in a state of constant anxiety, misery, and danger to others.

Lucas has faced serious consequences for his actions. Or at least what most people would find to be serious consequences. I'll not list them all, at the risk of being quarrelsome and pedantic, but recall that Lucas has been to jail before. That Lucas continues doing his thing, despite the consequences, is part of his magic.
He does not learn. He's like a cartoon character that slips on the same banana peel in perpetuity.
If Lucas lives long enough he will follow the Path of Bulla.
It strikes me that in some ways Bulla was better off than Lucas. Even towards the end of his last run Bulla still had the support of his family, or at least his mother, who was involved in his care until the men with the butterfly nets got him again.

The worst of Lucas' consequences is just having to deal with having his online history. A quick google search reveals that you never want to talk to this man, yet he won't give up on finding his bae online. Which is great because it would be very hard to blame Lucas' online history on anyone else. Hell, everything in his life is entirely his fault. He didn't become well known for hitting on an underage barista. He became well known for telling the media he would sue starbucks afterward. It's even him who started her being reported as 16, as Lucas reasoned that you have to be at least 16 to work at starbucks. He took a slightly annoying situation (being kicked out of a single starbucks) and turned it into a much worse situation (being banned from every starbucks and also outed in international news for hitting on an underage girl, then defending it by listing an erroneous age of consent). And that was just that one incident. A lot of other things, including how he lost his apartment, are easily worse.

That said, the HoC's policy of allowing him back into the shelter after a temp ban, after two incidents involving young women is flat out moronic. If at some point he goes off at another such woman and ends up harming her or even scaring her lucas has just given her more than enough reason to sue the shit out of the shelter claiming negligence from knowingly putting her in harms way by keeping a person they know to target people like her for abuse around, even after multiple incidents that involved getting physically dragged out by security and getting sent to the psych ward
You'd think the shelter, especially being a catholic run shelter, would want to avoid such incidents, especially considering how fast the media would latch on to it

I'm not saying it'd be way funnier if Lucas dropped his, "I'm gonna get PhD in a field I made up!" thing and instead went the, "I'm gonna be elected president of the united states then I'll get me a barely legal wife!" route instead in a couple of years but I'm also not saying that wouldn't be hilarious, especially to see him at some early-ish local level debates trying to be articulate and not freak out when people bring up everything about his past.

Considering how outlandish and boisterous his plans always are I'm sure on a long enough timeline we probably will get a Politician Lucas Saga. Not that he has enough motivation to ever make any effort toward his plans, but imagine him actually getting somewhere with it and trying to explain his 1st grade level economic policies to everyone.
