The Faggot Kings are a solid option, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. You get to ramp and draw and you opponents can do one or the other. Plus it’s four colors so you can play anything you want that isn’t in black. As part of my reformation(playing less mill) and cause my friend pod suggested me; ive decided to make a group hug deck, that way i wont be the asshole at the table. Any kiwi knows about good group hug commanders? This is like completely new territory for me.
The poster child of group hug commander in the recent year. Da rabbit of doom. (Don't actually build this if your pod is savvy about the game because of her infamous reputation)As part of my reformation(playing less mill) and cause my friend pod suggested me; ive decided to make a group hug deck, that way i wont be the asshole at the table. Isn't GLC closer to Canadian highlander as it is a two player singleton competitive format? My LGS has a pretty solid group of people that play the GLC format, which is like commander tier singleton Pokémon.
Basically yes, there’s not a point system. I hadn’t thought about the two-player element as a different factor. It’s actually a fun time if you’ve played the game for a bit like I have. I got to crack out some of the old shit I’ve had sitting in binders for ages, and there aren’t a lot of actual meta decks. My buddy figured out a reanimator combo that lets you bypass basic Pokémon requirements and it’s NASTY.Isn't GLC closer to Canadian highlander as it is a two player singleton competitive format?
If you're really into blue, I've personally witness Braids, Conjurer Adept decks both pop-off with extra upkeep and bounce spell-type cards and lead to games ending explosively by accidentally king-making just by sticking around the board. It's a lot of fun seeing what direction the deck will go and usually means no one will target your Braids since the other players want to take advantage of her effect. As part of my reformation(playing less mill) and cause my friend pod suggested me; ive decided to make a group hug deck, that way i wont be the asshole at the table. Eh im no longer allowed to play any braids in my pod due to the last time i played Braids(Mono Black). If you're really into blue, I've personally witness Braids, Conjurer Adept decks both pop-off with extra upkeep and bounce spell-type cards and lead to games ending explosively by accidentally king-making just by sticking around the board. Plenty of explorer decks are fine without them, maybe some historic/timeless. You're gonna see a lot of them in other people's decks anyway though. Is it realistic to play competitive (arena mainly) without the slop "universes beyond" crap? That shit is so gay.
Because of (((Intellectual Property Laws))), Arena doesn't even have the rights to some of the UB art, so they only have the "MtG version" (I forget what they're actually called and don't care)Is it realistic to play competitive (arena mainly) without the slop "universes beyond" crap? Enough to have multiple age divisions in the world finals.Do people actually play pokemon?
No.Is it realistic to play competitive (arena mainly)
"Universes within" is at least the slang term if not the official one.they only have the "MtG version" (I forget what they're actually called and don't care)
Depends on the format. There are several playable decks in Standard and Pioneer that don't run any. Izzet Spellementals is pretty hot right now and runs like one copy of Spider-Sense that you can easily replace with a cantrip/counterspell/burn spell. Also very cheap to build in paper. Save for a few decks like that Bringer Reanimator list in Standard where a UB card is core to the strategy, even lists that run them can usually be de-UBed by making a few strategic cuts. Meanwhile in Pioneer you've got MonoB Demons, Azorius Control, Azorius Spirits, and countless others, more good decks that don't run them than do realistically. Is it realistic to play competitive (arena mainly) without the slop "universes beyond" crap? I think the only part of that that made it to arena is Spiderman because they made it standard and no permission to bring Spiderman to digital so they had to. The other cards they did Universes Within shit for like Street Fighter and Walking Dead they never brought to Arena anywayBecause of (((Intellectual Property Laws))), Arena doesn't even have the rights to some of the UB art, so they only have the "MtG version" (I forget what they're actually called and don't care)
Generally if you avoid Standard Alchemy you'll see 0 alchemy cards because they nerf anything that's actually playable in historic and nothing makes it into timeless. Some small exception for a few really minor cards like Fragment Reality which is a path/swords that combos with Containment Priest to become the most efficient removal ever.However...Alchemy.
Just play timeless, sure you will have something like Orcish Bowmasters..but the timeless Lurrus deck is hilarious because you can just strip mine people into oblivion once in a while.it into timeless.
while Arena is fun in its own way, the most fun we've had has been commander FFA in cockatrice.
