Hate to be that person but do you have sources (screencaps, links, whatever) about this? This is some pretty robust stuff that can not only be used against the community, but also to explain others why MAPs are not people anyone with common sense should feel safe around with. We already have archives of a bunch of them having and/or wanting to date children so the more, the better.

Edit: Obviously whatever you find on catfishing documentaries and the like counts as evidence, but I'm specifically asking about the dindu nuffin groups, not pedos in general.

It could be real and a result of Tumblr. I have no proof but I absolutely believe there was grooming going on there, in addition to the child pornography problem. It was turbo-woke place preaching that no person, gender or sexual attraction could be illegal or wrong while softening and changing the terms of everything. Look at the massive amount of shipping of underage character and erotic fan-drawings of underage characters that happened there, then there was that guy from the Floraverse that almost successfully talked a minor into traveling to their house to fuck a dog while he filmed it, as if it was a normal thing they engaged in. And it wasn't the first girl he had contact with through his wife's childrens cartoon(that was also porn). As a whole that is fucking strange environment to grow up in on the internet.
And I think that in some parts/circles of Tumblr the ideas and actions of "MAPs", or other no-label pedophiles, became much more normalized and there are some warped young people as a result of it.

No, you're absolutely right, tumblr is a breeding ground for pedophiles. On tumblr children openly talk about their sexual attraction via the split attraction module or "asexual spectrum" terms like "demisexual". For whatever reason, it's exclusively that community that has frequent callout posts for soliciting nudes from minors, and for good reason. What pedophile wouldn't see a child openly talking about their sexual attraction as an easy target? I'm in no way at all blaming thr children who use those terms, they didn't invent them, and they obviously don't know better, but parents really need to moniter their children's social media better and see what kind of things they're talking about. As soon as a child regularly suicide baits people they disagree with (regardless of your personal opinion on this, it's not healthy for the child) and starts talking about their sexual attraction openly where any adult creep can see it, you need to intervene. Let's be honest though, most of us went on porn sites when we were underage. Parents don't know what children are doing online and a lot of us would have been in deep shit if they did.
