I'd trust vine so far as he's not in jail. I do wonder if CGC would count him being in a group home as "in custody" since it's likely he wouldn't be allowed to leave a group home except under supervision.

Since then his lawyer has been continuing the case constantly till we're almost two years later and Chris is out of jail and most likely going to a group home. His case is still pending though, but sealed so we can't see what's been going on exactly.

Could this sealing mean we don’t learn who’s responsible for the bond?

I have no confidence in Chris's ability to conform to rules. Bonded and and presumably on his way to a fortified tard house? He will be presented with many opportunities to fail. I wonder if the next arc will resemble Daniel Larson's body of work.
