Also, if someone calls the group home saying "Oh hi, is Chris there?" or "Hello? Is Christine there?", they could easily mistake him for a different Chris or Christine.

Gateway Homes is a huge residential facility, there are probably like 10 or 15 other people named Chris or Christine and I sure definitely ain't going to harass the caregivers to give them an update.

Only time will tell, take it from someone who worked in adult social services for almost 20 years, sadly i will say, abuse , disrespect, and general maltreatment is all too common in these homes as well as with many home and community support workers ; the personality types that often apply for these jobs are other times: narcissistic, sociopaths, even sadists who enjoy and feel superior by bullying, tormenting and abusing the clients. so hard to get anything done because this mess gets covered up so much, one of man reasons why i quit,i could not take coworkers mistreating these people and not being able to get anythin done about it, how ever if it happened to chris, sad to say; i dont think id feel bad.

My ex worked at a group home for tards. They would go out to Walmart twice a month to spend their tard bux. This was usually on clothing, "luxury" food items, miscellaneous stuff for their room, and maybe a movie or something. All this stuff gets approved by the tard guards. I was told they get a weekly allowance that could referred to as a pittance.

The reason Chris has a list is because there is almost certainly a court order that he can't have a phone. I can't possibly imagine why. He's probably been at the nut house since his jail release and a social worker helped him put that list together. He probably put Legos on the list initially but the social was like, "No, no, no Christine. First we need blankets for your bed and soap so you don't smell like a gym sock."

I agree. Also, he's got layers on, people. Even a slender person can make themselves look significantly fatter with extra layers, the wrong color, the wrong cut, etc. But it also doesn't take all that long for someone to get their "gut" back after just a week or so of horrible eating (and he is 41, after all).
