Something is not right about this. He's a government certified tard with charges of incest and the court lets him roam freely? I know of no group home that would allow a Switch on the floor. The camera alone would make it a no-go. Then he's at a gaming store with minors? I don't see any kind of supervision around him, something stinks.

Why wouldn't a group home let him out periodically? I don't know, was he actually convicted of incest or rape? Without an actual conviction he may have gained some freedoms.

I'm fucking disgusted that Chris is being allowed to (sort of) keep doing these things. He's still facing his crimes. He has not been convcted yet. He's possibly getting a tard deferral. But part of that will involve ongoing behavior and ability to function. The Group home will want him to engage in normal life tasks and some public socialization. Its not an asylum. They want their residents to have and engage in some degree of normalcy. Its kind of the point.

Right now Chris almost certainly has some court ordered restrictions. But they will be as narrowly crafted as possible to still respect his rights. They almost certainly include no 14BC and no contact with Barb. And probably some good behavior requirements. But likely not much beyond that.

Being able to sit peacefully and play a card game is considered a good thing and positive event to those in the courts and caregivers trying to figure out what to do with the motherfucking mother fucker.

The one thing I don’t understand regarding some of the analysis in this thread, is why people have the impression that they are caging Chris up in some type of asylum. For some reason the reply and quote buttons aren't working, but I think the general impression is that there would be carers for the mentally ill people that would be supervising them, which would extends to trips that go quite a bit aways from the facility (and therefore needs facility shuttle transportation). I'm aware of support homes where they do let their residents come and go as they please without needing supervision, but those types of facilities are typically not at the forefront of people's minds when they think of group homes.

I'm thinking that the group home may only follow people around if they're exceptionally mentally impaired or actually can't function somewhat like a normal person without a wrangler nearby, and let the others have a lot more freedom. It cuts down on costs, since there's practically no way for the home to have carers uniquely assigned to every person - most likely it's someone assigned to multiple people at once.
