MCU Television and Animation Series on Disney + - WandaVision, FATWS, Loki, etc

The problem is that it’s nonsensical in its metaphors.
For example, what it tries to say:
>Blacks are unfairly denied bank loans
What it actually says:
>Blipped individuals are a credit risk because they were legally dead for years, even a well known superhero and government employee

What the fuck is the bank’s logic? That the Blipped might disappear again, because that’s the only way it’d make sense. And in that case, the logic has nothing to do with race; a black man happens to be involved and that just makes it awkward.

It is the definition of “hello fellow kids”. The Rat tries to be woke, but doesn’t actually get what the issues are; let alone why they exist in the first place.
tbf after the mortgage crisis there were new regulations implemented including a lot of stuff that can't be overruled by a human on a fed-backed home loan, even if you're the banker's relative or anything, the system just NOPEs you the fuck out no matter what, so I can see how if you legally come up as dead for a while fanny and freddie might go tell you to pound sand, even if everyone knows you're a cape

Yeah, but you'd think they'd have come up with a way around this problem that affects literally half of the population of Earth. If this was only like 10% of the population it's feasible that institutions are just gonna tell them to get fucked, but I don't see how society can even function when half of the population is denied basic services by virtue of being legally dead for 5 years.

changing federal laws is a pain in the ass
and it's probably more that he didn't file taxes to provide proof of income than specifically being dead

The whole thing paid off in a pretty good sequence with Sam, Bucky and the neighbourhood so honestly if they're gonna fudge the financial details I can live with that. The MCU is more concerned with themes of friends and family anyway.

Again, half the fucking planet didn't file taxes for 5 years. This is still a muddled message and a stupid plot point to begin with because they're all* back now. *But I mean, is "everyone" really back? Did all of the people who died because they were flying in a plane that crashed when the pilots blipped/died in a car crash when somebody got blipped, etc come back too?

I also wonder, (And maybe this was answered in Spider Man: Far From Home, sorry I didn't see it. Pay Sony enough to put it on Disney+ if you really care Disnarvel, but you don't.) Does most of the population even know why "the blip" happened in the first place? I'm guessing 'no,' based on what I've seen, and that is its own entire shade of retarded. The surviving Avengers over those 5 years, at the very least, should have told the story.

I believe there were signs in the Captain America museum thing detailing the blip. I may not be remembering right though.

I'm glad I have people to bicker about with regarding home loans in a cape universe.

Why haven't the Shitney executives try to capitalize on Stranger things and do a full on 80s-riffic take on Power Pack?^
It could be fairly wholesome and squeaky clean if the basically use the original comic runs storylines. I would even add some 80s style psa's at the end.

They're going to run out of B-listers eventually and will have to resort to more niche picks. Give them some time.

Darkhawk could work to, I'd use the animation style from "Iron man: armored adventures". There'd be lots of cool toys for people to buy.
Damn, reminding me of one of the last great pieces of western animation like that...

Seriously, where the fuck are all the animated cartoons for Marvel? They'd be a hit with the kids. Just letting a gravy train zoom past without cashing in on it. That new Spider-man Cal-arts shit is disgusting.

So far, the TV series have been lackluster and disappointing.

There’s a MODOK one coming to Hulu, but it’s clearly not aimed at kids.

They rush through the storylines, they got Miles Morales and extra spider-friends really fast. They rushed through Superior Spider-Man, etc. I've seen Spidey rebooted so many times in cartoon form it's gotten old.
Miles should have been built up over a season, not at lightspeed.
