It was part of my old collection, which I mostly no longer have. Those were all the guns I got as gifts growing up, bought in my early adult life, or inherited from my grampa and dad when they passed. Unfortunately, my dad passing away put me in a deep depression that caused me to be unemployed for three years. To make ends meet, I ended up having to sell off much of my old collection. I still have my dad's deer rifle, hunting shotgun, a beat-up Super Blackhawk that I plan on getting restored and customized one day, and my mom has my dad's old Colt .22lr revolver that I'll get one day along with a Krag that was my other grampa's deer rifle.
I liked the XCR a lot. It was a smooth shooter, never failed on me, and I had even had it two-toned Duracoted it tan and black (this was before Cerakote had either come out, or became widely known in the firearms hobby) with a black skull stencil on each side. But it's not one of the guns I regret selling most. Those would be my Winchester 94s, vintage S&W N Frames, and a Colt New Service that had a long family history. I'd give anything to have those back.
