Mike David / Red Bar Radio / Jules Felker David - "Where we at with Red Bar?"

Im not sure when I quite got into internet hate watching... maybe it was Jason Genova back in the day, but Ive almost always "got it". No matter who the target was, whether I shared the feelings of the orbiters of these eccentric individuals, or not, I always kind of got it.

This thread makes me feel like a normie lol. This must be what kids feel like when you tell them Mr. Beast is a faggot.

Now, Im not trying to convince anyone to like the show or Mike, I dont give a fuck. I think its all funny.
But do the people who loathe him really not think hes a natural host?

I started seeing Redbar clips when I would search for Schaub hate videos. Ive seen most of the shit since the return, and I think its all been pretty damn good. I started going back in the archives, I think I started around the 2016 era, and it seems pretty damn good.

So whats the fuccen big idea? What am I supposed to be mad at?

You mean year 13 of 20. Yeah that's when he started getting good. Mike is like a reverse Nick Rekieta. Imagine if Nick decided to go "chad trad dad" after all his modern antics.

Watch his moon nigga episode. And tell me "redbar is pretty damn good"

Like read the thread faggot. You remind me of every fucker going "Nick Rekieta puts on an amazing show. whats the fuccen big idea? What am I supposed to be mad at?" When Nick won Lolcow of the year twice

So you watched for 12 years with your arms crossed and a scrunched up face?

And youre implying that the last 7 years have been good lol, whats so bad about that? Im supposed to be mad he didnt take Sven to a baseball game?

Imagine not liking Sven, couldn't be me.

You're the one that enjoys Mike David dressing up like a lady and calling himself Joy and you're acting like I'm the weirdo. Maybe stop being a tranny lover on the farms

What kind of a man needs 3 months off for his shitty little dog dying. His dog will die and then if god is any good this jew will be dead and buried shortly afterwards
What you don't realize is that he's been talking about how much he hates the dog and how he kept it locked in a spare bathroom and neglected to feed it more than once every other day for the first decade of its life.

He openly said that once it died he'd just get another one because only fags cry about it and he'd never even skip a show over it.

So it's even worse that he's using it as an excuse now. Gary David wouldn't miss work over a dead dog. But his fruity son Mike would

I can't relate to anyone who ever thought Rekieta was good. I remember trying to check out his stream about the Jack Murphy drama back at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022 and it was unwatchable.

Has Mike explained why he distanced himself from his community? If he hasn’t, I see that as a conscious decision to not mention it on the show. He’s fading away. Even with the long shows (whenever they do happen), he doesn’t feel like an actual person anymore. For someone who has lambasted his fools for owing an explanation to their fans for trivial shit, when I think of Redbar these days I just think of old tumbleweeds rolling by and a man who hides from his audience.

The low IQ Meltonites are spreading all sorts of nutty rumors in NLO chats about Jules having a miscarriage, she's in the hospital, Mike David died, they vanished in the Arizona desert. Fucking retards do not understand Redbar isn't on a set schedule anymore, he pretty much does what he wants. I'm sure unlike Fatrick he has a lot of money in the bank, and really doesn't need to work much.

Mike David said in a now deleted 2015 episode that if he doesn't knock out at least one episode a month to start making up rumours because he was sure he'd never miss another show, he was doing at least one show a week for 5+ years. Before the break

gosh i hope mikes alright... someone needs to keep an eye on jellyroll, if anyone was gonna do something to mike, it would be him.

A ten hour show once a month isn't good enough, let alone a ten hour show once every financial quarter. No one can continue to love a performer who simply will not perform. That mysterious year-long absence should have been a once-in-a-career move, and it only really worked out because a bunch of his clips got big on Youtube during that time, so a lot of new fans were pre-loaded with hype when he returned. Continuing to play evasive is just taking all those current and older fans for granted. Like they'll keep on paying for archives alone. A man can only binge archives once, at least in my experience, and it's not like this show was good before ~2015 when it turned into fool-smoking.

Honestly from what I'm hearing, no intelligent person if they were pay pigging before is planning on keeping it up after the latest episode. Beyond that technically this was a free episode so anyone that was a barmy member the last 3 months just gave money for 0 content. In general, over the last 4 years. You basically paid for 24 episodes, with the rest all free. That's fucking pathetic. That's $20 an episode and the price only increases from here because of the schedule.

Imagine asking someone to pay $20 for 10 hours of a Jew filling airtime with who's shouted him out and what he's been doing for the month and some karaoke.

This is accurate, and makes the archive a lot smaller. 2000 hours of content at most, If you start at 2015, in season 13. Fun fact. The reason s13 starts in March and he doesn't really have episodes for January and February was because he was offering 3 months of barmy for $20 and he ended that sale in December and honestly didn't want to give people "free shows" the reason a lot of the early s13 shows are gone is because he tardraged because the BBG turned on him for a whole there.

Also 2000 hours of content (seriously don't listen to anything before 2015) is about where your average podcast started in 2015-2017 is. Like Real ass podcast, kill tony, cumtown, etc. And they aren't too obnoxious about paywalls and never take breaks like this fag does.

Honestly could someone even make a "best of 2023+2024 redbar" at this point? If they did it would look awful. Mostly karaoke or him shouting out his trans fanbase.

Did you used to be a fan and just turn over time? Genuinely curious as you seem to have a lot of esoteric knowledge about the show.

I'm still a fan but it's like how star trek fans admit half the movies and half the shows are completely dog shit and you need to start about 40 episodes in for it to get good.

I'm just letting people know you should start from 2015 March until mikes joke show about Melton's 40th birthday and then quit.

I get that, I think the highest form of love and appreciation for something is hate. Were you watching pre 2015 at the time too?

2007-‘08 is some of his best stuff, too. It’s crazy how even the most loyal fans in the BBG will casually shit on the early shows. There is so much gold in there that it’s actually heartbreaking when you get into ‘09 and start to notice the dip in quality.

While I agree, it's "good" in the same way kill tony or other podcasts are good. It's not good in the way redbar is good. Mike really tried to make it a "hang" and once you take out David Angelo and the rest of the top tier comics that Mike had on the show it stunk.

Mike was the straight man to a lot of their antics and on the flip side was like this barr Simpson esque character doing pranks in his office and obsessed with boogers and farts and kid shows. The show did ad reads and had guests and everything Mike says he'd never put on redbar ever

Like it's an amazing show but a 2007 and 2017 episode are miles apart in format and if Mike wasn't a NLO fag he'd have change the name.

Plus it's easy to make comedy out of being broke losers, especially back then when any entry level job was enough to afford living in "the big city" and being able to bar hop and shit like that. Now I'd say every dude in their 20s I know of lives with their parents.

Even if they have a degree, even if they have friends who they work with.

The beer pong days of the pre recession 2000s are gone.
