Minecraft

Imagine gaslighting troons into believing this is Mojang glorifying the heckin' evil twansphobic cybewbuwwying fowum. Though I can see a handful of delusionals jumping to that conclusion themselves. :story:

EDIT: I just realized. This is a "DLC". I assume a Bedrock Edition only paid content. If it's a first party Mojang one then it may explain why the updates are so lackluster.

Mojang moved onto the endless DLC monetization route, Paradox style. :cryblood:

An underhated aspect of the 1.19 server moderation update is that it completely killed the anarchy server scene outside of 2b2t. I was an anarchy server shitter back during the pandemic, I mostly played on smaller servers since I hated 1.12 and most of them were on 1.14/15/16. 2b is now the only server with more than 10 concurrent players, I guess most of the playerbase decided it wasn't worth the risk and the ones who stuck around consolidated to the one big server

As with most things these days, it looks like a bedrock DLC which takes a bit of inspiration from the community. Here's a Java mod:

Isn't there a mod to disable server moderation?

Someone here got a message from mojank after they used slurs in their own realm.
Realms always has chat reporting enabled and there is no way to mod it as far as I know so you can't disable it. Don't use Realms.
Even if you could disable the moderation there's still that slimy feeling of being watched.
If you only play on servers with chat reporting disabled then you shouldn't get that feeling.

I've been messing around with the create mod, and I've figured out that the new post-production update actually allows you to bulk-sort items without the need for brass. Not sure if theres a better place to put this, but I thought it was kinda neat.

Using the new packaging system and a Redstone requester that is attached to a loop and/or comparator setup, you can constantly "request" specific items out of a container through the Redstone requester. This puts them into a package that could be routed to other things, like a storage system, a bulk processing setup, or even just thrown away as junk items.
The trick to this is having each specific item "type" on their own individual network, so you have the junk items on their own specific network. Unprocessed items on a separate one, it will not work if you have them on the same network.
Additionally, you'll need to unpackage the items into a container using another packager before you can process them, as you can't directly route them into a machine like you can with funnels.

as an example, I've been able to create an Iron farm that uses packagers to filter out the flint, and send all the iron nuggets to a compacting setup. Zero manual labor on my end, and all of the required materials are basic things you could find in the overworld, though realistically, you'd probably need a stack of quartz to craft items like comparators (to activate the requestors instead of a looped redstone clock) or adjustable chain gearshifts. Both are still technically optional though.
you also need an existing supply of pulp for the cardboard boxes, but if you have a tree farm and excess amounts of saplings, it shouldn't be a problem to get.

Brass funnels are still better in this regard, they're much easier to setup, much less noisy and are much more compact in function, but if you're lazy, like me, and haven't gone through the effort of finding a fortress yet, its a good way to automate less complex items, and additionally, it allows me to further procrastinate on brass production too, So i think it was worth it.

I don't remember how the meme went lol. Haven't seen it in a hot second.
I like these little guys, honestly. I would probably ree about it more if I gave a shit about any of Microsoft's additions, but the game's been spiritually dead to me since Notch sold it so I'm okay with these.

I honestly think that sad ghast started as a blobfish expy, though. The expression is too similar and it's another funny reddit meme animal that would fall in line with their recent pattern of adding le wholesome quirky weirdos like axolotls and armadillos. Very glad that, if my conspiracy theory is correct, they changed course to make it more original.

If it had stayed a blobfish I bet it would have either done fuck all if you hydrated it/put it in its proper conditions, or dropped an item that contributes to the one-off system and inventory bloat problems that modern/Microshit Minecraft is plagued with. If they want to le wholesome quirky up their original mobs that's fine by me, ghasts were always weird guys and the happy ghast reminds me of those old mods adding friendly creeper pets, which isn't a bad thing to me.

Does anyone know if the "Vibrant Visuals" thing is just built-in Vanilla shaders or a permanent graphical overhaul? The phrasing in the official article is a bit funny. I think they mention the possibility of playing with players who don't have it, but they never say "turned it off." Just "don't have it."

There's 0 mention of being able to disable or turn off this stuff in the article (there is WAY more focus on how they're going to try and push this to every platform possible), so I'm a little concerned that they're basically going to make shaders the default and completely destroy the stability and style of the game (probably for some weird movie tie-in reasons).

I'm not 100% sure what this is or what you're asking but surely there's some options to tweak?
