The chinks that own my apartment building have so many code violations and probably illegal cheap chinese bullshit going on it's unreal, so withholding rent is incredibly easy. Telling them that until they fix one of the million fucking problems they have with their building I won't give them rent, unless they want to lose a legal battle every time they begrudgingly do what I tell them to.
I make sure to space it out as much as legally possible so they get their rent late and rarely, combined with the fact that I've lived here long enough (way longer than anyone else, though we do get new tenets sometimes) that I pay much less rent than the other tenets, in addition to how easy it is to piss them off when they come to my door and they can't do anything about it since last time they thought they understood the law they got obliterated in court and I say that's one hell of a torture method. Very specific torture method I will say but it's hilarious and morally correct.
