To be honest, I don't think the "Third Reich Decadent Coffee Shop" was Rumiko Takahashi's idea, I think it can be safely attributed to director Mamoru Oshii. Megane and "Lum's Stormtroopers" originated in an early chapter of Urusei Yatsura but it was really Mamoru Oshii that fleshed the character of Megane into the Wehrmacht military otaku he became, although I know it wouldn't have happened without Rumiko Takahashi's approval but I don't take her approval to be an endorsement of Naziism since Megane's supposed to be creepy (but to be fair to Megane, he's interested in the Wehrmacht from a military tactical perspective, not Nazi philosophy).

Mujaki the dream demon himself was a creation of Rumiko Takahashi but Mamori Oshii took him to the next level of power.

Oh, I don't think she's remotely a nazi. I just think she has a weird sense of dark humor and doesn't bother with not offending people.

I can't wait for the genderspecials to discover Ranma,the salt will be AMAZING.

I think they already have, but it's such an old and beloved series (and the creator is a woman, so brownie points) that I don't think they've bothered screeching about it because they'd otherwise get torn apart by the rabid fans. I have seen it described as a "popular transgender martial arts comedy" on Amazon, however, which makes me face-palm because it's a fucking gender bender.

Since the SJWs who hate Kylo Ren have gotten to the point of not only threatening to murder his actor but are now blaming him and people who like him for the FL shooting I'd say he deserves a mention.

I also feel like the hate Rose Tico gets is overblown. I can get why people don't like her, but the intensity gets way over the top. Same with the people who bash Rey for being a Mary Sue for shit they have no problems with Luke or Anakin doing.

The Gundam franchise also has a shitton of characters who get way more hate than they deserve, from Relena (who most of the really intense hate for comes from butthurt Heero/Duo shippers mad at her for getting in the way of their buttsex) to Quess Paraya who while not a character that's going to be to everyone's tastes doesn't deserve creepy autistic ramblings from fanboys talking in graphic details about how they want to murder her every time she gets brought up.

Sci-fi franchises were a mistake.

I actually agree. It makes sense if you read the historical notes everyone skips over because it's boring. I've always thought Dante was a smug little vengeful autist.

As someone who has watched TNG tonnes, she's actually one of the best characters on the show, miles better than Crusher and actually goes through real character development unlike pretty much everyone else.
Doesn't stop her from being one of the most overly despised characters in all of Star Trek because she to begin with doesn't consider Data sentient (even though she's his strongest defender by the end of the season).
Also lets be real, she isn't MILF material like Crusher.
