I suspect the leaker's intention was to force Druckman's hand into releasing the game instead of waiting until the oriental ailment was over and done with. Considering they announced a release date for June today I think they achieved their goal.

The buzz is supposed to happen after it's available, so it can generate sales. If you burn through The Buzz(tm) before anyone can give you money, they won't feel the urge to consume product once they can!

I mean, I'll still buy the game buy it on sale pirate it watch an LP watch a highlight reel of an LP when it comes out. But that won't get them All The Money.

I think this is just one of their try hard "funny" threads on there. Thread creator doesn't even mention his mental illnesses, intersectional groups, etc.

Then again I have known people who are irrationally freaked out by bees while not being allergic. I know it hurts to get stung but it's not really that bad, especially if it's just a single one. If you're high enough on the employee food chain to get bonuses (the only way you'd get "denied pay" in any way from ND, everyone's on contract or salary), it's within your best interest that the game does break sales records. And you don't help that goal by leaking out the ending of a story game. That doesn't make any sense.

Considering there were smaller leaks before this, and the most likely scenario here is that the leaker is a Brazilian localizer, I doubt that.
