Maybe, but to say Islam is a minority religion is shortsighted because there are nearly as many believers as Christianity.

So this topic got bumped and it is an absolute goldmine. Above Resetera wants to ban Atlus/Sega for some light-hearted culture jokes you'll find most gay people laugh at.

Then we get to the intersectionality war for the progressives which seems to be Islam ranks the highest. No matter what regressive Islam brings to a culture, it has to be defended and accepted.

So we see the gayest and highest troon population forum on the internet, Resetera, being very quiet about this topic or trying to find a way to say #NotAllMuslims.

The difference between Conservative Catholics and Christians and Conservative Muslims is the latter usually always force their way, either through violence or through knowing they can force the West to bend the knee out of fear of being called "Islamophobic". "You don't support us? You're Islamophobic!"

You get thinking like this that immediately tries to say Islam is the real victim, "it needs protection", whilst downplaying the fact Christians are usually very tolerant, even if they disagree with you. They're not going to be violent or force their views, just share their opinions on Facebook or Twitter.

The whole topic is very careful to just say "Homophobic parents!", whereas if this was a mob of Christians, it would be "Fuck Christianity, these Christian homophobes!".

Here we see one of the big reasons why not all cultures are equal.

I have nothing against anyone that wants to practice a religion, but there's a good reason why the Islamic faith has the stereotype in this day and age of being a religion filled with a bunch of war hungry followers that are willing to pillage and destroy everything in their path. The main difference between Christianity and Islam now is because Christianity throughout its history has become more secularized and would also play a key role in the foundations of modern western civilization as we know it. Now to the credit of Islam, it wasn't always a bunch of radical religious fanatics killing innocents in bombings and mass shootings in the name of their religion. If you take a look at Islam during the Islamic Golden Age, much of the Middle East at the time had it pretty good as there was a period of economic growth, the rise of great cultures, and even a surge in both science and mathematics during this period. But this is now all in the past and overtime the Islamic faith did a 180 and then it went from being the pinnacle of a functioning civilization to being a very authoritarian religious doctrine as the secularization of the Islamic faith slowly faded away and what you get today are a bunch of war torn countries in the Middle East that no one in the right mind would want to live in.

Going back to ResetEra's culture shock that Islam is not as 'progressive' as they think it is, you cannot make two polar opposite cultures like each other or let alone be compatible with each other. Western civilization as we know it is more secularized and Islam in its current state simply rejects these values of western civilization simply because many of the people that follow the Islamic faith see these western values as 'evil' or 'goes against the teachings of Muhammad' or something of the sort.

Simply put, you cannot have cultures that cannot be compatible with each other live with each other in peace. A good real life example of this was the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990's where Yugoslavia was founded under the idea of the Balkans united as one nation and it ended with Yugoslavia breaking up violently in a race war that brought that country to its knees and it would cease to exist when the conflict was over. Forced diversity just doesn't work out in the long run.

Well look what I found here.

Be this sped. They decide to play a first person shooter. They claim to play difficult games. They claim to play games like Dark Souls and Super Meat Boy. Proceeds to play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the Veteran difficulty. They don't like it when presented a challenge. They bitch about dying a lot while playing the game on the highest difficultly setting. Then complains that the highest difficulty setting for a game is too hard to play.

Now to be fair the game mechanics for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are somewhat outdated but I find it silly to see this sped claim that they play already really difficult games to play to begin with and then whine about why playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the Veteran mode is too hard to play and shit.

That said, it's not a particularly difficult game even on that difficulty, so you have to have played very few games to consider fucking CoD4 one of the most difficult games ever.

Honestly the hardest Call of Duty game I've played was beating Call of Duty: World at War on the Veteran mode (anyone who has played that will know how difficult it is to beat CoD: WaW on the Veteran mode and it's Hell to beat the game on its highest difficultly setting). To tell you the truth while CoD 4 can be somewhat of a bitch to beat on the Veteran mode, it still doesn't change anything that beating CoD 4 on the Veteran mode is a walk in the park compared to other games and I consider games like Dark Souls to be far more challenging than beating CoD 4 on the Veteran mode of all things.

So much so it's time for verifieds to finally come around to calling Resetera what it is.

As you'd expect the people who moderate the crazy get involved and feed the outrage, but never return to self-reflect.

This poster knew it was fake from the start, but got mercilessly piled on.

Everyone's favorite fake activist on the internet boredJonathan decides to get involved to say outrage campaigns are deserved regardless of collateral damage. This is the man who hasn't taken part in one campaign on his Twitter account because he's scared his wife will know what a lunatic he pretends to be.

He isn't wrong. Every week there is a new outrage campaign from Resetera that pretty much no one outside of the forum and a few of the usual blue checkmark games journalists cares about.
