Does "the world is diverse..." actually mean anything? Beyond "well there's a lot of races" which is obviously what he wants to say. It's just like saying "the world tends to be liberal," it's another talking point they can use because whoever's popular says it so they parrot it.
The response to "Well the world is diverse, dumbass" should be "And why does anyone need to care about that?"

The world is diverse, but pre 20th century Europe fucking wasn't.

I always found it funny that game developers and insiders took Neogaf/Resetera seriously and all congregated there. No wonder most gaming companies are absolute shitholes now, when they allow lolcow communities like these to have any pull with them.

Their argument applies just as much to them as taxpayers and voters. Why should they be freed from their complicity just because they "oppose" the actions they grant their consent to? Couldn't they, like those soldiers or whoever, refuse? "But I'll go to jail!" Good, then we've established something matters more than the genocide, now we're just haggling over the price.
