The worst thing that an artist can do to their audience is censor their own content just to appeal to a very tiny vocal and unhinged minority that really has no real interest in their product to begin with.
Do you know why everyone remembers Vincent van Goth? Because the paintings he made are what he wanted to see and create and he also wanted to show his art to the world and he would bring something new to the table. Today, Vincent van Goth is now widely remembered as the tragic artist because he was never really all that successful in life but in death both his story and his art has captured the imaginations of many generations and he is now remembered as one of the greatest artists that ever lived.
Do you want to know what type of art that hardly anyone remembers anymore? Socialist Realism art from the former Soviet Union. Now this is a type of art that was created during the rule of Joseph Stalin in which the Soviet government heavily regulated their media and they only approved art that was in line with the Soviet doctrine. Typically Socialist Realism art was meant to promote an ideal life in the Soviet Union when in reality the lives of many of those living in the Soviet Union was a miserable Hell most people. Hardly anyone remembers these old works of Soviet art anymore because this type of art was only designed to promote an authoritative government and not allowed any form of free expression of what is actually reality and so because of this there is hardly anyone that wants to remember these old works of authoritative government propaganda pieces.
Now if you want to take a good look why no one really wants a censored product then go ahead and take a nice good look to how some companies such as Sony are now self-censoring themselves because they want to appeal to people that aren't interested in their products anyway. Recently Sony decided to censor some games that have material that they deemed too 'inappropriate' for their PS4 platform and this has been mostly targeting plenty of those anime games for the PS4 and people are sick of Sony doing this to these games. Meanwhile, Nintendo recently decided to do something unexpected and they decided to let those third-party developers make the games how they want and Nintendo to be totally hands off with those third-party games on their platforms. Now go take a wild guess how this worked out for Sony? So far those games that Sony has censored for the PS4 aren't really selling all that well and meanwhile those very same games that Sony are censoring for their console platform are also being sold on Nintendo's Switch console which are all totally uncensored and uncut and they are selling more than their PS4 counterpart copies.
The moral of the story here is to really never ever let a bunch of moral busybodies dictate your own art because then you would be doing yourself and also your audience a huge disservice by trying to appeal to morons that don't plan of buying or even appreciate your product to begin with.

The FtM trans are (1) far far fewer in number, because it's not a male autism fetish gone mad, and (2) they don't have the male dominant behaviour and entitlement ingrained in them, so they're not squealing about shit all the time.

It usually has to do with PR. They see all this yelling on Twitter and forums and think "oh gee, that's a lot of angry voices" when in reality those many angry voices are not only a minority but it's a minority that's in it for the power and virtue not to buy the game. Because branding is so important, companies will shoot themselves to keep their brand "respected" and "accomplished". Of course, this means shitting on the actual consumer base who don't want this shit at all and despise when companies kow-tow to people who don't like what they like, buy what they buy, and politicize what people find as a way to escape the world.
Despite all the examples, from before, companies still haven't learned en masse but slowly people are wising up. The problem is that those same people are not managers and executives. Those people are usually boomers who have no idea that these voices are not a majority.

I love the irony of all of this. They really like to accuse places like Kiwi Farms of being 'stalker websites' and then they do this stuff. Self-awareness is really a foreign concept for these bunch of losers. I really hope that ResetEra implodes soon.

Negative reviews are swarming in now. Today is the first day where it has more negative than positive coming in, and it seems very unlikely it'll stop any time soon.

Something my friend who used to go to Resetera (he gave permission to me to share it) said:
"The thing about resetera is that it masquerades as a normal gaming forum. Lots of normies ignore the political spectrum of things there. I did, and I felt like it was a good idea at first. Many of these people seemed friendly enough to ignore their political inclinations. I eventually interacted with enough people to gain a reputation and even followers. Heck, I've even participated in things like Mafia games and invite only forums. But here's the thing, these people are willing to tear apart and gossip about things when you least expect it.
The start of my lessened interaction with resetera was when user was banned for a minor infraction that had nothing to do with politics. He was a bit of a troll. But in the forums, people felt were planning to bait him into being banned because they took the trolling personally. I, of course, felt it was wrong but I ended up not doing anything about it. There were similar stuff I saw happening more and more frequently too. They wanted "problematic" users banned for the most petty reasons too. It was like The Purge, or a witch hunt!
The final straw wasn't that though. A person I looked up to died, and a thread was made about it. In it, I was shocked that there was so many vitriol about him, and they were unwilling to discuss the good things he has done, or the positive impact he had on the world. I commented something like "Huh, so this is why this forum has a reputation." A few seconds later, someone asked me if I wanted to leave the forum and if I did, to just stay away. I felt insulted that they wanted me gone for such meaningless wrongthink, and openly too. From then on, I pretty much blew off ever going back there as a member of the community. I went there once or twice to talk to some people who don't show open hostility to wrong think but that's it. People who do show hostility to wrongthink and interact with me? They get meaningless dribble.
If you're asking for screenshots and usernames don't bother. I don't want to fight fire with fire, and I don't want them to suspect me and try to cancel me in other places I interact in. I was stupid enough to use a similar name in resetera to my usual username."
So I was kinda surprised about the length of the entire testimony, but there you have it. Resetera hates wrongthink and jokes so much they'll try and get you banned, or make you want to leave anyway.
