get good

"HAHA gamers are so entitled, wanting developers to not censor titties or other content in games, but if developers don't cave to my demands to make the game play itself for me, then I will REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

I would be okay with every game having a pointless, so easy it has no fail-state mode if it was actually called Game Journalist Mode or Resetera Mode in every game.

That would be the best thing ever. The chimpouts from ResetEra, Kotaku, and Polygon would be heard from outside the galaxy.

It is definitely a white man's forum. Let us pause to mourn another lynching victim of the white lynch mob.

Will nobody stop these white supremacists from their Klan rally hate crusade against black people? Why is the Kiwi Farms the only place their pleas meet ears?

I mean I'm kind of ironic about this but seriously, what the fuck? REEE is obviously ACTUALLY racist. That isn't even a joke. They HATE black people there.
They'd probably get a pass if they were Muslim, given their weird relationship with Islam. But only if they were from the middle east probably, not east Africa. And that still won't make them as oppressed as the fat ugly trannies LARPing as soft, perfect anime girls.

Even better, take a note from MGSV and have the character wear something humiliating like a chicken suit just to rub it in.

For the cherry on top, let the final mission be inaccessible for the lowest difficulty. They want the ending, they need to git gud.

I think many older games with difficulty settings did exactly that. Also
Not only that, it's pretty clear that the reason the game has been so positively received is specifically how the combat plays out. If you shift the difficulty down and make the game "win the fight by mashing buttons", it wouldn't be the game they heard all the good stuff about in the first place.
THANK YOU for actually "getting" it.

I beat Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja, and the Demon's Souls NG+, when I was 10 years old, and I didn't even grow up in the NES era. Didn't most of these "journalists" grow up with NES?

Yeah, I'm all for letting developers make the game they want. Resetera and Twitter Bluechecks hate the argument, but.. it's right? The souls games are only as big as they are, and thus popular enough that these morons want to play them, because the challenge is there. Without it, they'd be mediocre hack and slash games.
I've gotten old enough that I have completely shit reaction times and can't beat games that used to be trivial when I was a kid. Souls games bosses are just an exercise in frustration to me. That's a me problem, not a game problem.

I appreciate when there's a crutch for me (Borderlands 3 easier mode that just eases up on the damage you take, for example) that doesn't punish me and can be turned on or off on the fly, but if the developer doesn't think something like that should happen, oh, well. It just takes longer to aim when you're older and most games are designed for whatever the current Mountain Dew and Doritos generation is.

I have plenty of games that I've been playing since the 80s to go back to if nothing fits what I want. Hell, lots of them can be played on these fancy, modern telephone things.

These fuckers just think the world should revolve around them without giving anything back.

I want to agree with you, but you can make a strong argument that a good chunk of Dark Soul's appeal is their historically-themed armor sets, monster design choices, and overall atmosphere. You could take those elements, and make it play more like KOTOR1 with pausing to roll dice and make hit/skill choices, and get largely the same experience visually. Then again, can you imagine Dark Soul's gameplay with a lightsaber, skulking around a Hutt fortress carving up Rancors and droids in real time? Shit would be pretty dope too.

The ham-fisted multiplayer is an often under-credited element of Dark Souls' appeal as well. Despite being able to solo the game, having a player "invade" your single-player space to leave cryptic messages, kill bosses for you or sabotage your ass with unwanted PVP all kept the relatively simplistic games fresh with that unpredictable player interaction.

The thing about Sekiro is that they harp on about accessibility but are rather cagey about what that entails, especially when disable gamers speak up or are referenced in the discussion.

Grant invincibility, OK cool, what if the issue is navigation of 3D spaces?

Add more UI elements and detail that leads the player. Excellent, but what if they lack the motor skill to follow that?

Auto play, cool, but why spend sixty quid for that when youtube and let's play exists?

There's a constant sense of escalation with all this hitching, and yet they make out a couple difficulty sliders will solve the problem. You cannot one size fits all for the different genres out there.

And yes you do have skill checks in books, it's called basic fucking literacy you mongs.

Add in everything they seem to want and it's just a bespoke Let's Play generator. YouTube's got that covered, and it doesn't cost you $60. The only difference is the fashion plate gender generator they demand be added in games, too.

Then again, watching that games media dude not be able to follow the onscreen diagram in Cuphead kinda explains it all. Failing at a tutorial with pictures showing what to do is awesome in all the right ways.

Back in the day Pac-Man was mostly enough, but then Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Man jr eventually filled the rest of the options. Now we need Pac-Ma'am and Pac-undefined and Pac-continuously-variable and on and on.

Minky will be a verified furry. Literally that is all. No credible industry people want to go near this shithole.

Verifying furries. Isamu Fukui desperate for money after operation white male troon appeasement didn't bring much EraClear money.

I don't know how you managed it, but you quoted someone else but somehow used my name instead.

What if the trannies get so pissed off, they declare KF a more safe space than ResetERA? They read this thread, I want one of them to say this on Era unironically.
Unironically it is. Less chance of getting swept up in some lunatic drama and being backstabbed, higher chance of avoiding some abusive relationship by recognizing the red flags for what they are rather than assuming that it's just residual bigotry talking.

Same tbh, for some reason racism is much less offensive when it's not coated in a sheen of social justice voodoo logic that hides it's true face. If you're going to hate niggers, hate niggers. Don't hate niggers and pretend you only hate them for their own good or whatever.

When you've managed to make hardened Kiwis go "Woah man, that's a little much the racism" you should probably pause and take stock of what's going on.
I wonder if it's because REE's morality is about extreme tactfulness when interacting with "allies", taking what one says with utmost seriousness, and over-the-top, verbose condemnations to the pits of hell when discussing enemies. Neither of these are stereotypically black qualities so to speak.
