There's ambiguity in the language over whether that means brownish red or reddish brown. Languages handle color classification differently. In any case she was never 255/0/0 like in the Witcher 3 which is the only version most people care about.

Triss is a fairly minor character in the books, which is why they made her black. It's the safest place to put in the diversity quota hires.

Michał Żebrowski as Geralt is one of the few things (if not the only one) that are considered good in this series. When he don't have to murder cheap texture monsters.

I don't get why Netflix decided that "makeup test" that is obviously unfinished and cheap-looking is good idea for teaser. Most likely characterization will be better in the series, so it's not even accurate. They want to make controversy on purpose?

If this was the case, they would quickly proved all of us wrong. "Oh, we know you are dissapointed, but how about this?" All of this reminds me more about recent Diablo Mobile shitshow.
