Probably minimal appearances this season. I think they are only touching on a few of the sorceresses. Triss was really a background character in the books, which is what the series is based off of.I like it kind of but where's Triss?
If the show focuses on Ciri AND Geralt and doesnt make her into a complete ditzy Mary Sue it'll have a shot at being pretty good. But that father/daughter relationship that the games really took hold of might be too difficult for Netflix to portray. That begrudging respect and reserved admiration after what they go through takes a long time to develop, and shows tend to rush into character development way too fast.
So many things would have already turned me off but I loved the games and the books helped me learn English. There's a special place in my heart for Witcher.
Trailer makes me want to hope and believe that the need to gain viewers will force them to stick to the lore. With the GoT finale crap, I hope a lot of adaptations will hug source material for deal life.
Geralt needs to start growing a beard asap, even if it's not totally lore friendly. HC has the jawline for the role, but the chin needs CGI or some shit. My first impression is that he definitely looks better than the test screening. The wig doesn't look as fake, the bit at the end where his eyes are red and blotchy was pretty cool. I just hope they don't make him too pretty. He needs to be a monster himself.
