It's not the fucking same thing. One thing is in the real, physical world and one thing is in the virtual stratosphere that only matters to kids and amounts to cosmetics that mean NOTHING. I'm sorry, I know it's what kids like nowadays. I know it's current thing. I know it's what's hip and cool, but the reality is parents aren't cool and they never have been. Parents overall will choose things for their kids to physically interact with over some virtual cyber sphere they have no fucking sight on. Why? Because half the fun of buying your kids a Christmas present is seeing them play and enjoy them.
I get the meme and your sentiment behind it but I hope you guys at least have the self reflection to see how autistic this stance is. I hope you all understand that if your children are happier to receiver virtual gifts that aren't real and don't exist as opposed to something physical and in the real world, then you've raised your children horribly wrong. Why do you think there's such a push amongst the people here on the Farms who ARE parents to minimize screens as much as possible?
