I doubt most nintendo-haters are hate posting in the nintendo-thread unless they are still in the nintendo-ecosystem hence pirates.

Me I'm here hating because this thread went full MW2 Boycott steam group and it's funny but I'm not going to shit up the thread too much over it.

Wasn't the 2001 build unplayable, and the restoration project was required to really get anything going?

Anyway, you may be right about EB64, but at least it was playable at E3, unlike DNF.

It was playable but only a few maps had any real functional gameplay I recall. A lot of the others were just empty map environments with maybe some enemies.

It does seem that a lot of the scenes shown on that E3 trailer were designed just for it, and not really present in any of the actual maps. But it's been a few years since I last went through the leaked build.
 
Out of curiosity does anybody here actually use the community button to screenshare with your friends or just a useless gimmick?
 
Is there a 3rd party Switch 2 Joycon with a traditional dpad yet, and if so, what's the best one?

This would be like if people said that "PALWORLD FAILED, IT DIDN'T OUTSELL POKEMON SCARLET/VIOLENT ON DAY ONE!" when Palworld initially came out as if a game sales on the first day means anything before trying to determine if the game has legs after the first week's sales. I had pretty negative impressions seeing the leaks, but sloptubers act like it's the holocaust times 100 if it means they can get even 10 more views.

And it's overall annoying now. Console wars never end. It just evolved into Nintendo Hate Slop channels.
 
did they come up with a better way for me to pull screenshots/videos i take than broadcasting the switch as a wifi hotspot, connecting to it with my phone, going to a localhost webpage and downloading each individual picture/video then leaving me with the bag for how to transfer it to my PC/other devices?
 
It is really hard to find accurate reviews for Z-A. You have the haters that call it less than trash and fanboys that praise it to heaven and back. I will have to judge it for myself. It is true what they say, the only review you can 100% trust, is your own.

Sad that discourse has devolved into that.

Yeah, you can use a USB C to connect the Switch directly to your PC now.

Let me give an accurate review (and I don't even need to play the game).

Are you desperate for Pokemon game? Sure, get the game. Are you not obsessed with Pokemon? Buy literally anything else. Only X Factor is if you liked Legends and if you did and don't mind spending 60/70 bucks, go ahead I guess. We've done this song and dance enough. Its going to be the same low quality that has been indicative of Pokemon games on the Switch. You've seen the footage of the new battle system (which isn't much different from the last one). You know how this game is going to progress. The only actual question that matters is "How much do you like Pokemon" Its clearly not a bump in quality so, again, the only factor that matters is your love of Pokemon.

First things first, chill. I do not mean to ruffle feathers but this is not helping. I do not care for the opinion of those who forgive everything their favorite company does nor about the opinion of those who say something sucks without explaining their opinion clearly and in detail. I do not care about haters or fanboys. I am just frustrated by all those that ruin discourse. If you have nothing to say, then do not.

Secondly, I told everyone not to buy the S2 at launch in order to teach Nintendo a lesson. That did not happen and here we are. That battle was lost.

Lastly, I have yet to play PLA so I am interested in trying the battle system, which is partly why I said what I said.

I am very much a normie that likes Pokemon. That is why I want to cut through the haters and fanboys to get clearer opinions. I do not care how one thinks that IT IS THE BESTEST EVAR! or how IT SUCKS BALLS AND KILLED MY DOG! I just want multiple analytical opinions and discussions with people that know what they are doing. That is all.
 
I saw someone claim they beat Z-A in just 17 hours while gushing over the game like a complete propagandist. To put that in perspective, the new Dying Light game is the same price and it still has people mad they’re only getting 70ish hours of time for $60.

Its clear that you are just upset at people shitting on the game. You're doing this dumb centrist "mask" to appear neutral and above it all when your just upset people are shitting on the game and blaming those dastardly haters.

"BUT I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW THE BATTLES ARE". Have you not watched the footage? You move and select abilities on a cooldown, but beyond that, it's the same combat as before. If you've played any of the Xenoblade games or any MMO, you know exactly how this plays. You don't need a review to tell you what you can see with your own eyes. Its Pokemon man. It's the same slop you've been served for decades. I can even tell you how the new game will be. It will have 100 new Pokemon. Most of them won't hold a candle to earlier ones. The game will look outdated. It won't have any voice acting so every scene will be awkward. There will be a battle gimmick. There will be a place where you make food. You will beat X number of gyms. It will take you maybe 40 hours to beat and then you never play it again because you are chasing the high you got as a kid playing Pokemon. And I will tell you the same thing I did now. Do you love Pokemon? You will enjoy Gen 10. Do you not care about Pokemon? Then don't bother.
