Speaking of Eli's parents, I wonder if they even call to check up on him or if they just don't give a fuck until it possibly gets close to two and a half weeks. I kind of feel like they don't know he's in Israel. If I accidentally had a kid and he somehow got anywhere near there I'd be calling constantly and the second it sounds like it's getting worse (which it has been for the entire time he's been there) I'd demand he come home. I really think they have no idea and they think he's just crashing at a friend's house or camping. It kind of makes you realize how if someone knew Eli's last name they could probably make this whole thing not only explode in Jace's face but get Eli pulled out of there quickly.
