This is what woke shit gives you, a barren game. About 7 years of development and absolutely nothing but it's cool you can be a super dykey Austrailian that is a straight rip from Apex Legends.

They are releasing this extremely unfinished game as an early access to try and push OWL. It won't work because OWL can barely get 1000 viewers on twitch.

Then they have the utter gumption to do this reveal and drag people along for 42 fucking minutes of woke shit. This is what you get investors, a deer in the headlights bitch knowing the game is fucked and she has to try and hard sell this shit. The guys on the panel knew they were screwed too but it's OK they had 2 black guys there just to fill some inane quota.

You chased off your designers and coders with bat shit logic and spewings of political crap when they just wanted to create a game. they must have hardly any actual coders there anymore, nor good designers because nothing is being done. you just can't code a game, you need a work ethic and need to know how to do it. It's why they don't give a shit about politics because they are actually doing something with their time and have deadlines.

So basically the only difference between OW1 and OW2 is the monetization model. Brilliant.

Battlepasses and thousands of cosmetics is what killed my interest in Hearthstone. I've already dumped Overwatch, and this shit gives me no reason to come back.

I have a feeling that it'll be worse than the loot boxes. Halo Infinite's battle pass was sparse for free users. They're going to gatekeep a LOT of content.

This whole Overwatch 2 reveal is disappointing. The main focus for this "sequel" was PvE, but that's delayed until 2023. Games nowadays aren't releasing with all their expected content, yet expect full price and minimum complaints.

All of this could've been an (hefty) update for the existing game. I don't even care about the PvE; don't boast about a feature and delay it until much later after release.

People who've been playing the beta say tanks and healers are basically just being turned into DPS who are a little less squishy or have a bit of healing. For the tanks and support who weren't already that. Hearing a lot of "tanks and healers are ruined".

They're 100% paving over OW1 with OW2 - they've stated as much multiple times. They have 0 interest in maintaining multiple versions of a game. There's a 0% chance you can play "classic" OW1 in any capacity unless OW2 is so bad that OWL dies with it.

Every OW1 owner will get a "free upgrade" to OW2 PVP.
