While Ralph loves to visit Progreso, reports in Spanish language media state the incident being discussed actually occurred on Wednesday and that the man was with his family.

True

EDIT: Sorry, here is the rough translation:

Progreso, Yucatan.- A man lost his life on the boardwalk while having drinks and swimming in the sea. What was a family and friends' outing turned into a tragic moment for the people who were with him.

It was a man approximately 40 years old who was living and drinking alcoholic beverages on this beach, and suddenly he wanted to swim in the sea, but he did not return alive. Upon noticing the floating body near the shore of the sea, they tried to help him, asking for support from lifeguards, although there was nothing more to do.

The events occurred in the afternoon of yesterday, at the height of the Crabster restaurant.

Well, if that guy who drowned wasn't Ralph. If he was some kind of tourist there. That's pretty sad. Go on vacation, want to enjoy a little swimming and boom...you're history. Some vacation.
In that article it said people saw this guy in distress, yet being in "paradise" and all, no lifeguards on duty to help him.
Doesn't really check out though. They said he was found near the shore. ?

But if it was Ralph who drowned, the least he could have done is stream it. One last dono grift for the road.

If ralph was going to die now, it would be sudden, unexpected, and likely completely mundane. I think he is more likely to die suddenly in his sleep after a bender and be discovered weeks later, than to "drown" at some tourist pier.
Alternatively he would die live on air like that guy who died mid interview on TV all those years ago, and it would be in the middle of responding to a fake superchat.

I always imagined Ralph would drown in his own vomit. Hopefully he's alive so he can continue to suffah for everyone's entertainment.

Something tells me he isn't being serious

Wait a minute, Ralph was supposed to be linking up with Hunter Moore? As in the Is Anyone Up dipshit who got trolled into destroying his own life?

This is fucking awesome. Moore’s nemesis-the guy who took him down-has been in the process of filming a tv show about internet scumbags. There’s a ton of lolcow crossovers.

Realistically, Ralph will most likely end up asphyxiating on his own fluids. Second most likely is some sort of drug fit (od, bad reaction, fent). I wouldn't put drowned at sea in the top 10, unless he were somehow flipped off a bridge or boat.

One: Ralph doesn't have any friends so "family and friends' outing" disqualifies Ralph.
Two: He can't drown, it is scientifically impossible.
