He has no friends or family to confide in, and ran off the last woman willing to stomach his shitty behavior. Sober or not, he's COOKED.
He's scared shitless of going back to jail. This is all a ploy to say that he was high, boohoo, that's not the real him, see how he's going to AA and trying, etc.
I'm new to paying attention to Ralph and I didn't realize he even pretends to be sober. That's hilarious. The first time I ever watched one of his streams wasn't that long ago and he passed out while someone watching paid to play lullabies. If a breathalyzer said he was sober I'd just assume it's broken.
If people started taking bets on Ralph breaking his sobriety, they'd show up to his shack and pour booze and xannies down his throat just so they could make their money.
Like many lolcows, he falls into a cycle. Ralph will suffer a minor inconvenience and he'll immediately fall to his vices. After which, he'll continue to larp sobriety while clearly falling off the wagon. (My favorite was when the googly eye glasses alogged him and you could see booze in the reflection.) Eventually, he'll have a full-blown pillstream or 3, then he'll start the cycle anew.
Might just simply be him realizing if he falls asleep on stream nobody can wake him up. I'd be scared shitless if that were me.

Sounds plausible and would tie a few recent events together. No idea if that's true or not, or if they published the link to Aaron's court appearance prior. If that's the case, Ralph becoming a reborn sober Christian will be ignored by the court.

They're just overgrown babies. Alcohol doesn't turn a person violent, it simply invokes their true colours. A alcoholic having domestic violence incidents will be the same when they're under pressure or scrutiny. It's just that simple.
