Either that's an emulator issue from the Yuzu version or an 8gb patch might not be enough.

That garchomp is on the same level as Red's Pikachu in HGSS. It's tied for the highest fixed Pokemon level in a game.

Combined, it's also the highest level total of any trainer, narrowly beating out LGPE red by 3 levels.

There's a reason why Cynthia is one of the most beloved Champions. The fact that she does not fuck around is definitely one of them.

Also, apparently the patch is out early, at least somewhere, and the company has explained what Pal Park has been transformed into:

Possibly, but you could do that with basically any other trainer in the series. She's still the new biggest badass.

Here's the math for Lucario. It's not an OHKO, but with that Sash, it's getting at least two hits in.

Could you get around it with the right boosts or a bit of moody luck? Sure. But there's also Togekiss, Spiritomb, and others.

Damn, they actually made her even harder! In the original games, she didn't have sets nearly good as these, even during the rematch. She didn't have a Porygon-Z either, but that seems to have replaced her Roserade.

As someone who's used those exact same Togekiss, and Milotic sets right down to the same items, and stat spreads, getting through them is gonna be a pain if you didn't set-up beforehand.

Huh. So patch 1.1 actually kills that BD to SP patch, mostly as it screws with save compatibility. There's a new one, but it only toggles the SP content, and otherwise boots as BD.
